He's a great tertiary player, and would maybe be a good secondary player. But the Spurs will get far more out of him than any other team will, and the Spurs aren't going to let him go. So, he's about as available as LBJ.

He's the future of the Spurs.

Wow Lamb, Reggie, Durant, and Morrow may all be out for our game vs Thunder.. I hope we don't come unprepared against an unknown lineup..

Re: Thunder - I guess somebody found the Dorian Grey portraits they'd been storing in the attic.

Hope nobody finds ours from last season.

We had our injuries last year. CJ missed as much time as durant will. I think our training staff is legit, and I'm not too concerned.

I guess this is techincally now regular season info so we may need to start a thread for it but anyway:

Team officials announced Monday that power forward David West and shooting guard George Hill would miss at least three games because of injuries. West is recovering from a sprained right ankle. Hill is trying to rehab from a bruised left knee.

With Paul George already out with a broken right leg and Lance Stephenson playing for Charlotte, the Pacers will have four new starters in their opening day lineup.

The two-time Eastern Conference runner-ups also will be without point guard C.J. Watson for at least two weeks because of a bruised right foot.

Just in case anyone was still concerned I guess

Travis Outlaw. Would you go that direction again?

I ask because there are these other players with Portlands name linked to them which gives the indication they might be looking to upgrade the 3. He's a scorer. Or used to be.

NBATV is set to premier a new special on Monday night featuring Gregg Popovich, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker talking amongst themselves. It provides a fascinating and unbelievably candid look at four people who have always been closely guarded with the media and any sort of outside perspective.

To be honest, I wasn't sure they weren't capable of speaking like this in front of a camera. I also wasn't sure that they were human to this degree. In a screener provided to CBSSports.com, the Spurs covered a range of topics, from the hurt of the 2013 Finals, to Kawhi Leonard's emergence, to the early days of each of their tenure's with the Spurs, and each of the Big 3's perspective on having Popovich as a coach.

It gets a little bit dusty in the room, to be honest.

A selection of the best quotes from the program which premiers Monday night at 9 p.m. ET

Ugh, tonight's going to be a long night. At least there are some hoops on tomorrow. The regular season is taking forever to get here.

I dunno...I could use a couple more days to get a bunch of stuff set up. ;)

He is not in the NBA currently but Josh Childress with a nice WWE move:

He was charged with "striking with elbow", "unduly rough play" and "bringing the game into disrepute".

He plead guilty to "unduly rough play" and "bringing the game into disrepute". The charge of "striking with elbow" was dismissed.

He was fined $3,750AUD for "bringing the game into disrepute" (because he publicly criticized the refs), and received another $3,750AUD fine, and a 2 game ban (1 game suspended) for "unduly rough play".

So $7500AUD, and a 1 game ban which everyone here is saying is extremely lenient.

I think every time Ginobili or Harden flop they should be suspended for "bringing the game into disrepute".
