Sorry for the Blazers but the Lakers are not losing 5 straight games. If the Blazers lose to Utah, it’s another 3 game losing streak.
I remember back in the Gerald Wallace era, the Heatles had lost 3 or 4 in a row before we played them and I thought "there's no way we can win," but we did. I think we have as good a chance as anyone.

You do realize that just because something happens years ago in a basketball year doesnt mean that it has any influence on this current iteration right? Our team is worse, our defense is putrid, and our bench sucks.

Not true. That team in 2012 was worse and didn't make the playoffs. And that Heat team was much better than this Lakers team. And our defense has been decent anchored by a DPOY candidate that is leading the NBA in blocks. The bench has been bad because of injuries to our starters but they're not as bad as you think. Skal Labissiere is becoming one of the better back up bigs in the league FWIW.

As fans, we can LEARN from the past and know not to assume we'll lose to a team on a losing streak. After all, we just extended Minnesota's losing streak from 9 to 10 last week. Learning from the past is important in my opinion. You become a smarter fan.

Why did you switch to a new account?

That Pelicans loss isn’t looking too bad now. They’re going to beat the Nuggets in Denver tonight.
Pelicans are a decent team when healthy (outside of Zion) and focused. That 12 game losing streak hurt but they're still only 5.5 games out of the playoffs with over 50 some games left.

Seriously who am i to question Harden? But that one just seems bad on Christmas Day on National TV.

No Name Warriors playing well. Beat the Rockets and it’s on a 4 game winning streak.
