80+ 3pt attempts per game can really lead to some massive swings. For our starters to go 8-33 from deep last night and still win is a real anomoly. The deep ball will determine a lot of games this year.

I don't know. Murray didn't play but Barton is back. And Bol gets some minutes and there's room for a bigger role for MPJ but it's starting to look like they miss Jerami Grant, esp on the defensive end.

Lot of people sell Plumlee short. The guy has a motor that won't quit. Great teammate and he does the dirty work. The combination of Grant and Plumlee will have an effect.

The entire league is incredibly inconsistent right now. It's not just us. I think if everyone gives it until February the way teams are playing and the standings will make sense but it might be a bit of a winding road between now and then... especially right now.

I agree. Crazy swings in competition. The players are not playing the same in empty arenas. Players that are mediocre are cooking because it's like practice. Players that usually dominate are playing unmotivated. It's just weird and i wonder what we will see when fans are back in the arenas?

I think the Blazers should be on thinner ice than other teams who have shown more success in the recent years. Stotts is on season 9? That's insane. If we continue to be the worst in the league on defense then none of our acquisitions have changed a thing which leads back to the ineptitude in coaching.

There needs to be a sense of urgency.
