I feel bad for dame. Why he puts up with this organization is beyond me

Boston, the #1 team in the East is down 30 to the Knicks. This is a common theme throughout the league, not a problem only in Portland.

They are down 30 to a team that plays defense. Portland was down 16 points last night to a team that....does not.

Also, Boston was without Tatum. If Portland didn't have Dame, we would lose by 30 to the Knicks also.

And this is what can happen when you bring in a coach that emphasizes defense. The Knicks were 23rd in the league in defensive rating last season. Now with pretty much the same personnel, they are 9th in the league in defensive rating.

Celtics shot 29% from the field. I don’t think Blazers would do that even without Dame. We shot pretty well without Dame in Game 5 vs champs last year.

From 3:

Williams 0/4
Smart 0/7
Teague 0/2
Ojeleye 0/6
Nesmith 0/2
Green 0/1

Has this ever happened before?? 29% from field is like a bad college team.

You feel bad for Dame when you're not talking about how old he is and how he's lost a step. The negativity is pretty consistent but the way you aim it isn't.

I'm not complaining because my opinions change a lot and I can sometimes have two conflicting opinions at once. That being said, don't feel sorry for Dame or Reggie Miller or anyone who finds a home in the NBA and gets to compete at an all nba level. Also lets see if Dame can bring a championship to this city by the time his career is over like Dirk did in Dallas.

I can tell you one thing, Dame doesn't feel sorry for himself. I'll guarantee that.

I have not looked this up but i swear the Blazers have shot 29% from the field at times?

Denver signed him for 2 million less than Portland signed Jones and Green doesn't have a player option at the end of the season

I seriously doubt that Olshey looked at Green, but if not, he should have

I'm beginning to wonder if Portland iso-heavy offense with Dame and CJ just dominating the ball discourages a lot of potential free agents from considering Portland
I been wondering that for awhile.

What are you basing this assessment off of? Lots of baseless assessments on here.

Defensive efficiency rankings: https://www.teamrankings.com/nba/stat/defensive-efficiency
Atlanta - 13
Knicks - 19

Like last year when we beat Orlando (9th in def efficiency) by 23 without Dame and starting 2 guys who are on min contracts this year and a 3rd guy who is out of the league?

Sometimes I get the feeling that some people only watch Blazer games. Which is actually understandable and normal. But the NBA this year sure doesn’t seem normal to me at all. Blowouts, bad teams winning vs good teams on the road, it’s kind of a free for all out there.

This this this!

I have no issue with people who watch the Blazers and few other teams, as long as they don't make claims comparing us to other teams. At the very least, there is a ton of data out there to help you determine if your snapshot opinion has any validity.

This guy speaks the truth!

We won.....

They did? Wow, thank you for taking time off from mowing lawns or showing invterviews during live play to share that breaking news.

Of course the bigger point is, if they continue to play like they have for the majority of these first 13 games, they will suffer an all too familiar ass-kicking in the first round. It pains me when a team with much more talent, plays down to the level of garbage rosters so often.

Did you expect this team to go past the first round? Also, I don’t play back any interviews on our broadcasts. Not sure if you realized this, but now you do.

I expect you to step up, be a man and fix it no matter who is in charge. Lay down the law!
