How is Mr. Westbrook doing? "None of this has deterred him. Westbrook leads all players with 15.7 isolations per 100 possessions, according to Second Spectrum. Those isos are producing 0.725 points on average — 98th among 110 guys who have recorded at least 20 isolations. Opponents have outscored the Wizards by 17 points per 100 possessions in 98 minutes Westbrook has played without Bradley Beal, per NBA.com. The Wiz offense in those minutes has burped up 87.8 points per 100 possessions. Perspective: the Minnesota Timberwolves’ league-worst offense averages about 104."

Padding his stats as he's averaging 3/2

*Bam breathes*

Aldo: We got bum ass Zach Collins instead of this guy?????

these are pretty amazing numbers for a 6'10 guy:

of course, Miami is losing a lot of games. That's not Bam's fault though as far as I can tell

* Blazers could have Adebayo or Donovan Mitchell plus Derrick White/Josh Hart/Dillon Brooks

* or they could have had John Collins plus Jarret Allen/OG Anunoby plus Derrick White/Josh Hart/Dillon Brooks

* instead they'll get about 2 years of Zach Collins plus the ghost of Caleb Swanigan

interesting action. Griffin looks pretty good

what I really noticed was Mason Plumlee doing Plumlee things. I have a friend who is a big Denver fan, Broncos and Nuggets. He's a little worried Denver might not be as good this year. But it's not because of missing Torrey Craig; and it's not from of missing Jeramai Grant because the expansion of Porter's role and addition of Green have more than made up for Grant's departure. He thinks Denver is worse because they don't have anybody who can fill Plumlee's role

I know Butler been out but is Miami really that bad without him? Or are they going to come on during the second half and contend again?

they've been hammered with injuries all year, not just Butler. Look at their current list:

every team seems to be dealing with a lot of injuries this season and Covid protocols are adding to it. It sure does seem like this has been the worst season for major and minor injuries in a long long time. I'd imagine an off-season about half the length of a normal off-season is a major reason. Not enough recovery time for the NBA grind between seasons

but in Miami's case, they are digging themselves a really deep hole. They are 6-12 right now. Last season they were 13-5 eighteen games into the season. They'd have to win 21 games in a row to match the record they had last year by their 12th loss. Right now, making it to the playoffs will be an uphill climb. HCA in the playoffs seems like a bridge too far

injuries are an excuse then

The Spurs bench units have been a fun watch this year.

Murray-Mills-Vassell-Gay-Poeltl, in particular. Very high IQ and complementary group.

+36.3 pts / 100 possessions (144 poss.)

Congratulations to Joe Ingles for passing John Stockton to have the most made three point shots in Jazz franchise history.

This from a guy who thought he’d never make the NBA, who was basically signed as a comfort blanket for Dante Exum, who used to be a below average three point shooter for his position.

JIngles success highlights the value of hard work, and determination.

He sure gets called a "Scrub" a bunch. That guy just never quits. I'll take a whole team of players that work that hard please.

Some say they can't be a threat with an old school center. Not sure i agree with that premise.

he's a lot more than an old school C though. He's a two-time DPOY, a dominant rim-protector, and an elite rebounder.

Portland could have had him too, if they wanted. They had him in for two workouts but Olshey apparently didn't think Gobert was worth a 2nd round pick. He preferred to sell picks for cash or waste them on TRob

Butler is really important to them. Herro has missed 7 games also. I think they will be in the playoffs.
