he's a lot more than an old school C though. He's a two-time DPOY, a dominant rim-protector, and an elite rebounder.
Portland could have had him too, if they wanted. They had him in for two workouts but Olshey apparently didn't think Gobert was worth a 2nd round pick. He preferred to sell picks for cash or waste them on TRob
Huh? I know your post was last night but they are currently only 4 games behind the 4th seed with 53 games to play. How is that a bridge too far? It's so early.they've been hammered with injuries all year, not just Butler. Look at their current list:

every team seems to be dealing with a lot of injuries this season and Covid protocols are adding to it. It sure does seem like this has been the worst season for major and minor injuries in a long long time. I'd imagine an off-season about half the length of a normal off-season is a major reason. Not enough recovery time for the NBA grind between seasons
but in Miami's case, they are digging themselves a really deep hole. They are 6-12 right now. Last season they were 13-5 eighteen games into the season. They'd have to win 21 games in a row to match the record they had last year by their 12th loss. Right now, making it to the playoffs will be an uphill climb. HCA in the playoffs seems like a bridge too far
I thought Dallas was better than us?
Well coached.

I was talking about Heat. Blazers can get HCA too though.I think it's a bridge too far because I believe 4 of the teams ahead of them are clearly better. Portland getting HCA does not seem likely to me
This is how it’s been for 3 years. Before that, it was 100% fans.So i voted for the AllStars today. I read the determination factors for starters. It's weighted 50% fan vote , 25% media, and 25% players.
Is this a change from years past? Is that the way it has always been weighted?
I thought the fan vote on the starters was weighted more heavily than that in the recent past?
@AldoTrapani enters the chat lolYou guys would be trashing the team so hard if Denver did this to us.
I think it's better than 100% fan vote don't you? Just seems like a better feel if Players have a bit of say. This is how it’s been for 3 years. Before that, it was 100% fans.
You want Barton back?Jokic is now 4/4 from 3 and Barton is 5/5 lol

brad beal is being a lil B right now. I wish they would just bench him-- they were better without him in the first half
I think they'd have to considering what's happening. A CJ/Russ backcourt would be hilarious.Hypothetically, if we offered CJ+??? For Beal, would they entertain it?
