ok seriously, do you just get up everyday and stumble into NBA people? lol i can count on a single hand the number of times i've seen these dudes in public.

(uncle Cliffy RIP at Best Buy)
(Udoka at the airport in Vegas boarding a Southwest flight)
(rodney stuckey on a flight from Detroit)

etc etc.
I once had dinner with CJ, Mo Harkless, and Tim Frazier at Bamboo Sushi. They were a couple table away and didn't know it, but it still happened.

Saw Cliffy his rookie season, last year I lived in Portland, at Emanuel Hospital where I worked, looking for men's room. All the Blazers came there for annual blood tests as part of physical but they went to outpatient lab and I worked in impatient lab. I was at Oakland Convention center and saw Rickey Henderson going into restroom. Saw Simon and Garfunkel years ago at LAX. My cousin saw Joni Mitchell in a store in New York buying Drano and had an odd feeling, you know, she's Joni Mitchell, her drains clog?

If you sit out in the concourse of a large suburban shopping mall waiting for your wife long enough, you’ll eventually see every single person in the entire PDX area walk by…….
Those are the times when you realize you've become an actual grocery cart....I'm the Mike D'Antoni of shoppers....7 seconds or less and I'm done.

I liked your post right away, because you work at the "impatient lab". :)

Paul George with a half court shot to end the 3rd. It was a bad shot though

It takes a COACH!

And I’ve got this feeling that the 2021/22 Coach of the year award will be going to one Becky Hammon, of the Portland Trailblazers

Like wtf dude. Encourage your guys, help the coach, talk shit to the opponent. Thats gotta be frustrating to lue
I'd imagine that when you sign Kawhi you know what you're getting as far as the lack of leadership. The guy is aloof and always has been.

I saw Darius Miles once driving that crazy tricked out Chevy that he owned. I saw Kenny Carr one time in Lake Grove coming out of a copy shop. I saw Clyde once driving by. My best was a double-dipper: Terry Porter at Washington Square when he happened to bump into Bill Schonley and the two started chatting.

Edit: I forgot that I also saw Sam Bowie once in Lake Grove. The dude was on crutches at the time. Go figure.

One other time kind of doesn't count. Danny Ainge was at a fan event at Clackamas Town Center one time & I took my sons there to get his autograph. The kind of random sighting, though, was that afterwards as we were going to our car, Ainge sprinted by heading to his car and he was being followed by a pack of fans still wanting autographs.
Funny thing is, the only time I see players/ex players is at the airport, or other city's airports.

While waiting for my entrance to the USAF , worked at Plaid Pantry. Walking to work , saw Darnell Valentine walking the same way so crossed the street and said hi. He was super cool and actually talked all the way to my work. I got his autograph, and still have it. Working security, after stint in service, saw Kenny Carr . Super cool. Met Jerome Kersey at Wong's Autobody . Was delivering parts, and Jerome got his detailing done there. Again super cool. Moved to Denver, and ran into Calvin Natt at a Cub Foods. He was in the Mortuary Business then. I was wearing my Broncos gear, and found out he was a Raiders Fan. Very Quiet, and intense man. Told him i was a Blazers Fan, and appreciated his time there. He seemed kinda like, Meh. Ol' well. While stationed in Hawaii, went to the Rainbow Classic. Sat a couple seats away from Pete Newell. For those who don't know, he was a famous college coach who had a Big Mans Camp that many a Pro Center/Power Forward would attend. Many Blazers went to his camps. At that Rainbow Classic, Mark Bryant, Seton Hall & future Blazer, was playing. Listening to Newell talk was very cool.

I met Jake Layman as he was driving away.

CJ McCollum was taking reps on the court and I was in his line of sight and I thought maybe he was gonna punch me in the face for stuff I said on S2.

Thats all I got.

Jason Kidd seems to be getting a lot of the same love about his criminal past from Mavs fans. Some don’t care, but a lot do. I work with a Mavs fan who is furious about his past

That game was to be expected from the Suns.
Booker was noticeably hampered by a broken nose. I understand this very well. A fresh broken nose hurts every time you move. It will get better but a bad game is understandable at this point.
Chris Paul was out 11 days. Obviously he was rusty. He will have a better game in game 4.

Clippers held home court which they had to do or this series was over.

Saw Sheed at Fred Meyers when he played for the Blazers. He came into shop. I got to go to his house after he was traded to Detroit. His father in law and mother in law were friends with my dad and were still living here and were keeping an eye on it. His father in law brought me over there a few times. Got to watch a movie in his basement theater.
