Ok let's resign Steve Blake. He needs to catch up.

Wolves should trade or chase after a good PG instead of going after Aaron Gordon. That would give them a better chance at turning it around.

Who says that mid-season coaching changes don’t work. Atlanta has won 7 in a row and jumped to 6th place in the East since Nate took over. Minnesota has played much better since Chris Finch took over.
2006 Heat and 2016 Cavs both won titles after firing coach midseason.

They will probably draft either Cade Cunningham or Jalen Suggs.

They literally have a young all star point guard

Rubio is the main force behind their turnaround. They should unload D'Angelo Russell instead.

Edward’s 42 pts and beat the Suns
He reminds me of former Wolf (and Blazer) JR Rider. Super-talented scorer, big and strong, but kind of a space cadet. I always felt calm when JR was shooting free throws because I didn't get the impression he felt pressure.

Not a big Stevens fan. Inherited the load of talent and picks they got when he took the job and hasn't been able to get to the finals in what used to be a weak east.

His teams have always been young and too many players with the same skill set. I think he’s easily in the top tier of coaching minds.

For those that have been on Trent and his shooting:

Pretty standard position for any shooter, including ours.

Trent has attempted over 600 three's in his career and has 40% on them. I think 600 shots is an adequate enough sample size to have a decent idea on his shooting ability from deep. 40% is a pretty good rate of conversion. Obviously, there will be 5 and 10 game chunks of fairly significant variance, but that's true for all shooters, even Curry

I think at this point we can expect Trent to be in the range of 38-42% on three's. And yeah, that range I just pulled out of the air, but it seems realistic. Trent is a good shooter. What he isn't yet is a good defender, positional rebounder, or ball-handler. I'd say best case is being a moderate usage, higher efficiency shooter with decent defense. But right now, he's kind of one-dimensional

unfortunately, NBA & Blazer history suggests he may very well be overpaid on his 2nd contract, and another bloated contract is not what Portland needs
