For those that have been on Trent and his shooting:
Brady Hawk: Tyler Herro on the shooting struggles, “Shooters shoot, and we just have to continue to shoot..It’s a long season, and it’s a grind.”

Pretty standard position for any shooter, including ours.
Trent has attempted over 600 three's in his career and has 40% on them. I think 600 shots is an adequate enough sample size to have a decent idea on his shooting ability from deep. 40% is a pretty good rate of conversion. Obviously, there will be 5 and 10 game chunks of fairly significant variance, but that's true for all shooters, even Curry
I think at this point we can expect Trent to be in the range of 38-42% on three's. And yeah, that range I just pulled out of the air, but it seems realistic. Trent is a good shooter. What he isn't yet is a good defender, positional rebounder, or ball-handler. I'd say best case is being a moderate usage, higher efficiency shooter with decent defense. But right now, he's kind of one-dimensional
unfortunately, NBA & Blazer history suggests he may very well be overpaid on his 2nd contract, and another bloated contract is not what Portland needs
How do you think the Euro Step was invented?I think that's normal in Euro-League
Ouch. There goes the Lakers
If it was a serious tear of ligaments, maybe. If it was just a sprain/mild tear, he'll back in plenty of time for the playoffs.
He checked out of the game, changed shoes, came back in the game, hit a corner three and then checked back out and walked to the locker room. If they let him go back in, he was able to hit a three, and walk off... it doesn't seem like it could be too serious.I guess I'm superstitious because I don't even want to consider the impact of injuries to other teams for fear of the boomerang effect on Portland

Lakers have the 6th toughest strength of schedule remaining. I don’t think they would be favored in any game without LeBron and AD.Well we should clearly pass them, possibly within the week.

The Blazers are bad:
29th in DRtg
The Blazers are good:
6th in the West vs. top .500+, and we've been injured
The Blazers are bad:
11th in the West in +/-
The Blazers are good:
Tied for 5th in the West by record, and we've been injured.
Are we good? Are we bad? It's Portland, we're complicated (or maybe just keeping it weird).
He's LeBron James... many argue that he's the best to ever do it and look at his numbers. I think (if the MRI doesn't show any structural damage) that LeBron and AD will both return in a month. As long as they are in the top 10 in the West, I think that team wins the chip. Honestly, I don't think any team in the league can beat them in a seven game.Man... You would think LeBron was the only player in the league this year to sprain an ankle?
It's a sprained ankle though. He will rest a few games and come back as LeBron. He's LeBron James... many argue that he's the best to ever do it and look at his numbers. It’s a high ankle sprain. Those can be tricky and take longer to heal. Woj is saying he could be out an extended period of time. He's LeBron James... many argue that he's the best to ever do it and look at his numbers. Right the MRI will tell them more but the average time to get back in game for a high ankle sprain with no structural damage is six weeks... some people do it in as little as three and others it takes up to nine. It’s a high ankle sprain. Not saying you are wrong at all. But i highly doubt LeBron James is out 6-9 weeks? Now my Blazer Homer mind set want's him out 6-9 weeks but realistic thinking says he got back up and played so he can keep his streak alive then he walked off under his own power throwing chairs along the way. He's out 2 weeks at the most.Right the MRI will tell them more but the average time to get back in game for a high ankle sprain with no structural damage is six weeks... some people do it in as little as three and others it takes up to nine.

LeBron is out indefinitely with a high ankle sprain. Can the Lakers even hold on to a playoff spot with LeBron and AD out for an extended period of time?
Also, with LeBron and Embiid missing a lot of time, it looks like Dame and Jokic are the top 2 MVP candidates now. If POR can make a run and get a top 3 seed, Dame will have a legitimate chance at MVP.
But. Playoff positioning should be interesting. Don’t want the Lakers in the first again tho lol
Rockets have now lost 20 in a row. They are starting to hunt history. If you’re wondering, Wood, Wall, and Oladipo are all healthy and playing these last few games.
