He checked out of the game, changed shoes, came back in the game, hit a corner three and then checked back out and walked to the locker room. If they let him go back in, he was able to hit a three, and walk off... it doesn't seem like it could be too serious.

Didn't look like a very severe ankle sprain to me. LeBron, as physically tough as it is, loves to sell contact and act like he's hurt to draw the whistle. This was a pretty clear case of overacting, and the media just eats it up without question.

Who wins this battle for the East, assuming they meet up and are both Healthy?
Currently Nets PPG 120.4 and OPP 115.4
Sixers PPG 115.5 and OPP 109.9

Even though defense is paramount in offs I still think in todays game you better be able to score. I would pick Nets to win that series.

Yeah, it was diagnosed as a high ankle sprain. That's a pretty serious and painful injury and an easy one to diagnose. It's not the ankle roll (like it is with a regular sprained ankle) that causes the injury. It's the torque against the tendons above the ankle on the outside of the leg. One of the ways they check to see if it's a high ankle sprain is to see if the tibia and fibula are held in place in relation to each other. If there is give then there is a high ankle sprain and the more give they feel the more severe the sprain is likely to be. Look up high ankle sprain recovery and find one article that says less than six weeks.

Throwing shit around like the guy was acting, before obviously doing some research is typical in here but it doesn't make it any less foolish.

Just watched parts of the Nets-Wizards game and I’m glad Blake Griffin decided to go to the Nets and not POR. Forget jumping, he looked like he could barely move around the court. Just lumbering around. Not sure if he’ll help the Nets much at all.

Well, he is +14 in 14 minutes, so, to be fair, he hasn't hurt them yet.

Three guys who can break down defense on their own AND do it to shoot 3s? Truthfully, if the Nets are healthy I think they'd be my pick to win the whole thing.

As they say sometimes the best defense is a great offense!
There have been numerous college upsets because of the high % of three's taken and makes.

WOW LaMelo wrist injury out for the season. Glad we got Nurk back but those wrist injury are just bad.

It was his first game but i agree. I was not impressed at all with his court time. He did nothing other than not do anything really wrong. Seriously contributed very little.

Yeah, but he dunked!!11!

Atlanta is the 4th seed in the east..they would be 9th in the west..I guess some things never change

The 6-week clock is ticking. We'll see on May 1st which one of us is an uninformed blowhard.

wait a minute...if there's an uninformed blowhard contest, I want in!

I can win this contest for sure. Been training for a while now.

This isn't a contest and we don't have to wait. If we are posting in here I'm pretty sure we all qualify but if there's a prize then I also shouldn't have to wait to win that either. I don't think I've ever missed a chance to say "trade CJ" and "fire Olshey". Although I think I've had my reasons for saying it every time... I doubt others have always found them logical and/or compelling. I'm just saying, give me the title or prize or whatever it is.
