Clippers are deeply flawed team. I expect them to lose in first round (Lakers would sweep them) no matter whom they play.
Like normal: I don't think you're going to be right, but I really want you to be right!

Dumb? It's true. Check the numbers. Curry misses more threes than he makes. His ENTIRE career. And yet GOAT this and GOAT that.
What the actual F are you talking about. Ted Williams was a pretty good hitter and he got out more than he got hits. So? Curry is the best shooter all time no question. Zero. This is ridiculous.

No question? Please. He isn't even the best shooter in his family. Seth is #2 all time, behind Steve Kerr. Even Hubert Davis is a better shooter than Steph Curry.

I deleted a post because I thought Seth was Steph on the percentage list but when you look at shot volume Steph is quite obviously the best. When you consider the shots that are taken (those other guys are all spot up shooters) it becomes even more obvious. It's obvious to the top guy on that list, he's Steph's coach and calls him the GOAT.

You know all of this stuff and the whole "he's made less than he's missed" thing makes it obvious that you're not serious and haven't been this whole season. You're just playing a character that's the optimist/biggest Blazers fan/troll. And I think with this comment you've gone a few steps too far and kind of played yourself.

I'm not playing a character. I have the pinwheel tattooed on my leg, I moved to Portland for a season (18-19) just to be a season ticket holder, and I've been to every arena in the NBA to watch them play. I am the biggest Blazers/NBA fan I know. Many are as big of a fan though. Chris Craig is hardcore.

I don't doubt that you're a fan. I know you are. I've been around here for a long enough time. You just seem pretty over the top this season and nothing has been more over the top than saying that Steph wasn't the GOAT shooter because he's missed more three's than he's made... which as you know no one has come close to making more than they miss.

I think Dame is one helluva three point shooter but he's at 37.5% for his career and has been right around 40% over the last couple of seasons.

Dame's awesome.

All this talk about whether the Lakers avoid the play-in, or whether the Suns can catch the Jazz... in my mind, the Clippers should be the odds-on favorites for the title. Seems like they just have everything you're supposed to have, they're healthy, and they're somehow flying under the radar.

Also, if the Nets actually can get all their stars in the court simultaneously... look out. Chemistry be damned, they're gonna be scary.

I watched the Blazers play the Rockets and what i watched was a Rockets team that played hard all the way through the game no matter what the score was. Yes the Blazers put that team away in the end but they had to play tough.
I'm really not sure the Lakers will just win this game coming against the Rockets without having troubles.

it's a trap game for the lakers for sure, especially considering it's the 2nd of a B2B when the 1st game went into OT and AD played over 43 minutes. If Lebron plays like Woj suggested he would, that will probably help quite a bit. The Lakers last 2 games aren't easy wins either; but they should be favored in all 3 games

Wow what is going on? It looks like Play-in for the Lakers

What are the Lakers doing? They cool with 7th?

The Lakers know 6th plays the Clippers. They want to get healthy before that happens. My opinion yes but i think it's plausible. Also I believe they feel the Blazers could lose to the Jazz so it might not matter? Health right now is everything.
Is Alex Caruso playing?

If they can’t beat the Rockets, who are 3-27 in their last 30, even without Lebron and AD, they don’t deserve to miss the play in.
If no Schroeder or Caruso too, what exactly is the difference between the two rosters?

Caruso and Schroder are out but the betting world still has the Lakers as huge favorites. It's important to note that Kevin Porter Jr. and Christian Wood will be out for the Rockets. So Horton-Tucker, KCP, Wes, McLemore, Kuzma, Morris, Harrell, Drummond and Gasol will probably be the guys in their rotation... so I guess the difference will be talent and a shit ton of experience. Maybe the young players who might not even find themselves in the league next season on the Rockets will run all over these older guys but Vegas certainly doesn't think so.

Shit the Lakers are giving this one away with turnovers and fouls.

When the Rockets took the lead with about 23 seconds left I thought. "Shit's about to get crazy in here!" In regards to this forum because we were 23 seconds away from clinching our playoff birth...

Wah wah... it didn't happen but there's always tomorrow.
