Anyone know why GTJr has been out the last few games? Out of the rotation or injury?

No but you had posts yesterday in the Around the NBA April thread so when I moved them to this thread it makes it look like you started the thread.
Phew - I know I'm starting to go senile, but at least I didn't start a thread without knowing it

For one game, at least, Bagley justified being taken one pick before Doncic. Somewhere Vlade is smiling.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Kings just swept the Mavs. Weird...........

Luka with his 15th technical foul. Is that automatic suspension for one game?

Lakers about to fall into a tie for fifth with.....Portland.

Lowry and Siakam are on Fire. Lebron don’t care and left early

It's crazy to me that there's a real chance that the reward for Phoenix and Utah in the first round of the playoffs could be the two franchises that have won the past 6 conference championships.

So it looks like we are third in 3way tiebreaker. Anyone know what that is? I assume if we beat Lakers on Friday, we will be first in 3way? 2-1 vs each of them? Does Dallas have some advantage for winning division?

Yeah, it seems two way ties are head to head but a three way tie's first criteria is division winner so Dallas would get that one if it's us, the Lakers and Mavs.

"In the event two or more teams are tied in the standings, a series of tiebreakers are applied to determine which team receives the higher seeding.

  • Two-Team Tiebreaker:
    • 1. Better record in head-to-head games
    • 2. Division winner (this criterion is applied regardless of whether the tied teams are in the same division)
    • 3. Higher winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
    • 4. Higher winning percentage in conference games
    • 5. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
    • 6. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in opposite conference
    • 7. Higher point differential between points scored and points allowed
  • Three-Team Tiebreaker:
    • 1. Division winner (this criterion is applied regardless of whether the tied teams are in the same division)
    • 2. Best head-to-head winning percentage among all teams tied
    • 3. Highest winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
    • 4. Highest winning percentage in conference games
    • 5. Highest winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
    • 6. Highest point differential between points scored and points allowed"

Wow that blows. So we need to beat Lakers on Friday to assure we’d be 2nd in a 3way. It might not matter though. Lakers next 3 games are Nuggets, Clippers, and Us. They could lose all 3 and tiebreakers won’t matter.

There's a long way to go, the Mavs have the easiest schedule but haven't been playing very well, we have the hardest schedule but like you called it "enough is enough" really was a thing so we're playing well and the Lakers are just trying to get healthy but have a schedule almost as hard as ours. So there's just a long way to go, even if that long way to go is just a couple of weeks away.

The Jazz and the Nuggets will tank against the Blazers and send the Lakers to a play in tournament… Book it, it will happen.

Tough game to win Friday. Would help if the Moda was able to let a few fans in. Even 2-3000 would be really cool.

Other side of the coin is that means one of them would end up playing the Lakers in the first round possibly? Might not be the best scenario?

Wow, it's dawning on me for real that Portland may not make it past the play-in game(s). The 6th spot is going to be hard to snag. And the 6th is the only way to avoid a sweep. Not happy.

Yep and Dallas has the easy schedule so we are definitely in the Play in games
