We need to avoid the Clippers. They are the worst matchup by far. Our strengths, 3pt shooting and free throws, are also their strengths; but they do it better. They’re deep and loaded.

Need to root for the Nuggets to hold off the Clippers for the 3rd seed.

Looks like Davis tweaked his ankle. Lakers may have to pull the plug on Lebron and AD for the regular season and just get healthy for the playoffs...one can hope anyway.

I wonder if how much of the Lakers success last year was due to the league shutting down for 3 months and giving Davis (and to a lesser degree, LeBron) a chance to heal up from his annual trip to the injury list.

maybe the Blazers should petition to get a 3 month reprise during the season each year...

Nah, much as I hate to say it, Lakers were the best team all year, and it wasn't really close.

Playoffs this year will be interesting though. Lakers will be most feared 6 seed since 95 Rockets.
