During Trump's second impeachment, both his own attorney and Republican senators argued that as he was now out of office, if he did anything wrong proper venue was legal system. Try him in court of law. Now they are saying since he was not convicted after being impeached he can't be legally prosecuted.

Trump's attorney actually read in court a tweet from Michael Cohen referring to Trump as "Von shitzinpants". Try covering that in news with a straight face.

Also, Trump denied he is sleeping in court. He is just resting his " beautiful blue eyes".

Trump's hand picked judge Aileen Cannon granted yet another delay in stolen documents case. It is the strongest legal case against Trump and she is determined it won't happen.

Just learned Cannon took lavish gifts and vacations from Republican donors and did not disclose as she is legally required to do.

Man, I wish she’d taken a page out of his playbook and called him “Dinky Don”.

Stormy Daniels trolls Trump after testifying in hush money trial

Adult film star Stormy Daniels Stormy Daniels trolled former President Trump and his legal team after testifying Thursday in the New York hush money trial.

“Real men respond to testimony by being sworn in and taking the stand in court. Oh…wait. Nevermind,” Daniels said in a Thursday post on social media platform X.

Juan Merchan’s gag order so that he could respond to Daniels’ testimony. They argued that since she had completed her testimony, any possibility of her being intimated had passed.

His legal team also tried to have a mistrial declared, claiming that her testimony revealed far too much about the alleged sexual encounter in 2006 with the former president.

Merchan denied both attempts.

Daniels’ shot at Trump on X was also an apparent reference to him potentially taking the stand in the case and confronting the claims she made.

Trump’s attorney Susan Necheles, the only woman on his legal team in the case, tried to take down Daniels’ credibility with the jury by portraying her as an unreliable witness and alleging that she had changed her story about the alleged encounter. Necheles also went after Daniels for making a profit since alleging the affair with the former president.

Trump faces 34 felony charges in the New York case for falsifying business records, accusing him of illegally concealing payments his former fixer, Michael Cohen, made in the late stages of his 2016 presidential campaign to keep Daniels quiet about the alleged extramarital affair.

Senator Rick Scott attended the trial to show solidarity with Trump. He said he had also been victim of political persecution because he opposed Clinton health care plan. Hillary Clinton, who held no public office, had used Justice Department against him.

Scott had headed a company that perpetrated the biggest public health fraud in US history. Billions of dollars in fraudulent Medicare, Medicaid and Veterans Affairs claims were filed. You or I would be jailed for false Medicare claim. As it was the company paid over $1 billion in fines and was shut down but Scott is walked away with $300 million.

Yes, very persecuted.

Trump gets to spend the weekend thinking about what Michael Cohen will say Monday.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww Poor Donnie so lonely in the courtroom falling asleep. So now the cult is making pilgrimages to the courtroom to kiss his hand.

They all dress alike and all say the same thing.

Speaker of the House saying entire Justice system is corrupt is really no joke. Laying the groundwork for Trump to get rid of judges & prosecutors and replace with ones personally loyal to him.

Lauren Boebert drooling over how pretty Trump looks sleeping in court.

Giuliani has pickled whatever is left of his brain. Arizona was trying to serve him with an indictment after grand jury indicted him for election interference but he was on the lam and couldn't be located. So he throws a big birthday bash for himself, posts pictures on line and taunts Arizona state authorities. Who were then able to locate him.
