Is he going to jail?

NY will do for Trump what the country of Colombia did for Pablo Escobar, they will allow him to take one of his own properties and turn it into a prison.

There would be so many problems if Trump were to serve time in a regular prison. Putting Secret Service agents in prison to guard him would be a giant cluster fuck. Trump would be a target, he could not be isolation. That is considered additional punishment. Yet the Secret Service could not be armed. He would be a target, prisoners looking to intimidate or befriend. The prison would be overwhelmed. Trump would have 20+ lawyers a day visiting him. And that's his right. He would get 1000s of letters a day, all having to be opened, searched, read, and documented. And those are just some of the small problems.

Instead it would be easier and cheaper to, in a sense, build him his own prison. Which, he would happily agree to and get his cult members to pay for.

(This is entirely my opinion and have not read or heard this anywhere else and it will be interesting to see if this is what ultimately happens if he is given actual prison time.)

And if this were to happen, the Trump prison would be the perfect location for his Presidential Library after his time is served.

Yeah, will likely be suspended prison sentence, house arrest at Trump Tower, and fines. But, pending appeal it won't be in effect.

As a convicted felon he cannot buy a gun, vote in Florida, or receive classified briefings.

12 ordinary citizens accomplished in 11 hours what Congress and the Senate could not from the day he took office...find Trump guilty on all counts. Maybe we should raise the bar for qualifying to run for public office?

Kind of funny. Had a load of cooking to do so streamed back episodes of Law & Order SVU to keep entertained while chopping and stirring. With no idea a real law & order was going on until I was done and switched to news.

Cheaper still, put him on Jeff Bezos' penis rocket, and shoot him into space. Let the aliens deal with him.

Prior to sentencing, convicted defendant must meet in parole office for pre sentencing interview. Just him. To assess his personal history, mental health, attitude, his views on what led to this moment, finances, etc. Results reported to judge to aid in deciding sentence.

For those who may choose to celebrate the occasion with a cocktail tonight, might I suggest an “Orange You Glad”?

Haven't had a drink in 3 years, but if we're drinking, I would mix a nice Dick and Cock because Trump is the embodiment of both concepts. A Dick and Cock is simply George Dickel Rye and Cock and Bull ginger beer with a lime wedge.

For those who say why vote for Biden with wrong Gaza policy and very much creature of establishment: because sometimes, not often enough but sometimes, very flawed messy democracy works. And says no one is above the law. And I want to keep it.

No one should be above the law. But the only person in the US that would have these kinds of charges levied against him is Donald Trump. The onslaught of frivolous lawsuits is clearly political, which is a rubicon we just now crossed.

You know that Obama actually had someone murdered? Hillary fraudlently hid that she funded the Steele Dossier, a worse crime than paying a woman hush money in my view. No one should be above the law, but this is selective prosecution, aimed at a political enemy.

Anyone who celebrates this ridiculous conviction is an absolute twit. Not only is it absurd legally, but the precedent this sets will end up ending our nation. Do you really believe there will be no retaliation? Trump is still going to be elected sweetheart.

The appeals court for that district, assuming Trump appeals his convictions, is a five judge panel. All Black women.
