Trail Blazers G Brandon Roy downgraded to out for Tuesday's game at Memphis.

my facebook page doesn't have this in it's status update options.

sounds like.... roy will rest till nov 26th

that means 6-8

what prediction did u make?

Through Dec. 1, I think I said 5-2 including last game (which I had as a loss). I think I had the Utah game as a loss, but predicted we'd pull out the other ones.

I stand by that, but am more than willing to own up when I am wrong, this prediction included.

Roy = Wally Pipp?

;)

roy being downgraded.... did he get worse or is it a case of being smart?

It was fun while it lasted for some of us. After late-Whitsitt and then the Pnashterson days, I feel like we've already been here before.

The others who spent the last 3 years whining are already in practice for what lies ahead. Either way, things aren't what they were that past four years. I'm glad I had fun watching the games, and watching a healthy Brandon Roy.

HCP, for the vibe in Portland for us fanatics, Roy seems to be a lost cause in terms of ever being an MVP candidate. This is not an acute injury, but rather a chronic injury that will only worsen. You'd know the vibe of the team, but that's what is going on here right now in general.

The good thing is it will be MUCH EASIER to get primo seats now!

I used to get free tickets in the 8th row, FT line extended, when the Blazers weren't winning.

My fear this time is that Paul Allen does not subsidize this cursed team.

I got courtside seats a couple of times back then. I might be able to get them again now!

Nah, people will still show up as long as we're competitive, which we will be.

300-level seats were half-price for the Detroit game, and I just got 4 300-level seats for $5/each for the 12/20/10 Milwaukee game in section 316 on StubHub!

Deals, here we come.

I just found out they found some old bones and headstones under the Blazers locker room while we were on the road! POLTERGEIST type shit!

I'll be honest with you, I don't see much change in demeanor around the guys. The sad thing is they are all probably pretty numb to this type of setback now. It's not like this is the first time we've had to deal with it.

the difference...

last years team had heart

this year they have no guts

Thanks for the info. Roy is a fighter. He's not going to just quit trying to be great, but damn, are we cursed or what?

I blame it in part on the fools who questioned his heart and leadership this preseason. Karma is a real bitch. None of those guys are around right now (e.g. Shooter).

Good. Forward thinking. The RG may not extend the sell out streak, but I'm not worried about people not showing up as long as we're competitive. And we will be. Not worried about that.

last years team would have beat the thunder and would have beat the hornets

Last year's team had a healthy Roy and Oden at this point of the season, and you were still down on them.

I'm interested to see how your chronic negativism plays on this board when pretty much all of the fans here are a bit down on the team compared to how they felt going into training camp.

You aren't trying to suggest that he plays the opposite to whatever the majority of fans feel, are you?

That's just crazy talk. Crazy talk I tell yah!!!

I got 2 seats in section 110 for 49.95 each for the Milwaukee game!
