I agree, the Boise St. player was far from innocent, and brought it on himself really.
 
even the coach from Boise state got on the player who got punched for taunting....shoves him.

what a pussy, punches the guy in full gear than starts back pedaling like carmelo anthony at the garden. i guess bsu guy didn't learn from his pop warner coach, always keep the hat on.

he brought it upon himself. you can't just go up to someone and talk shit without getting blasted. imagine if that happened in the nba...someone comes up to someone, hits them on the chest and starts talking shit..of course there's going to be a fight. just so happens Blount has good aim.

when I'm at work, and usually I'll be around.. but we just got so primed and ready for football season we got about 20 people to watch the debacle lol.
 
also... everyone CALM DOWN. Yes it sucked, and I was totally primed and ready to rumble.. but good lord, its ONE GAME. There are still 12 more to play. Look at it this way.. the Ducks could NOT have played any worse, and yet they still had PLENTY of... chances to win on the road, against a very good BSU team. Its gonna be ok, goodness. This season.. just like last season, is gonna be a bumpy ride. And since there is a few extra days before the Purdue game, its some extra time for the fairweather fans to jump off the bandwagon. :) that is all

The Boise player probably told him that they really got that ass beating they deserved

Boise State Player = Soda Popinski's relentless trash talking after the Civil War. Blount's Punch = BSU ass whoopin on the Ducks in the first game of the season.

For all the other Duck fans, just remember there is still the PAC 10 season to play for. Maybe CK and the Ducks can figure it out before conference games start. Just look at the Beavers season last year -- horrible start -- great finish (except the Civil War game which sucked big time!!! :cheers:)

Right.. cause I'm sure it was a pre-meditated punch, and he had so much time to take his helmet off before he punched the guy who taunted him. :crazy:

Wow..There are actually Duck fans saying the BSU player deserved to get hit? Perhaps if the UO team had kept their mouths zippered before the game and stopped all their trash talking they wouldn't expect it after the game.

Totally, totally classless by Blount...

Even as a Beaver fan I'd cut Kelly some slack. Hell, he's got to deal with little Mikey still running around on the sidelines. I'm sure it was bad enough for Mike having the Ducks' owner calling him all the time with suggestions, now Chip has to deal with Mike and the owner at the same time.

As a Duck grad and fan, all I can say about this travesty is that I cannot wait for the NBA season to start.

Ridiculous. In the first UO/BSU thread, you were the first one to sling mud. Then we got the "little brother" crud. If you're going to go in all high and mighty and put OSU down in the process, expect to get some back when your team looked crappy and your star RB throws a punch at a guy looking the other way. It ain't rocket science. You get what you give.

Honestly, for the Jayremmies of the Duck world, I've got lots of sympathy. A loss like that just sucks.
