I like how you are like "ADMIT THE BOISE PLAYER" as if this is some criminal investigation of the message board variety. I havent seen one person who has said that the Boise State kid didn't tap Blount on the shoulder pad (read shoulder pad, not face, not back of head, didn't turn him around, didn't physically harm him) and then talk some trash.
But your suggestion that he SPUN BLOUNT AROUND is laughable. Blount turned himself around, Blount didn't react to the tap right away, and he listened to the guy trash talk; then he cold clocked him in the jaw when the kid was turned to the side getting chewed out by his coach.
Just because a guy acts like a douchebag and talks trash doesn't mean he deserves to be cold clocked in the jaw. If that was true then Soda would be set up in one of those carnival booths to get clocked by Beaver fans all year long.
There is an extreme difference between some tapping of shoulder pads, some chest bumping, and taunting to hitting someone straight in the jaw.
The idea that Blount was justified and the Boise State kid deserved it for some talking some trash and tapping him on the shoulder is mind-boggling.
Let Blount get his two game suspension, let him learn from the mistake, and let him take responsibility. Don't baby him, don't try to validate his punching a kid in the jaw, and don't exaggerate what the Boise State kid did in the first place - nothing can be learned if that happens.
