You can’t keep blaming coach after coach. Look to the GM and the garbage he keeps assembling. I understand the salary cap, but I’ll never forgive him for not doing more to help their run a couple years ago. Brought in bottom of the barrel garbage for a cup run.

They call up Chemlar and still play scrub Sheary. I give you the dumbass Rangers.

Yeah, Sullivan is a good coach, it's just half the roster is garbage.

Sullivan roster decisions are terrible. He also brought in Sheary for no a reason but because Sheary needed to get back to the nhl and he is married to Sullivan’s niece. I thought they wanted to change culture here lol. Drury on the hand is a complete tool who has managed to ruin the team completely. The only thing he is decent at is draft. He should’ve been in the scouting department and not the president/gm lol

Including Quinn, the Rangers have had FOUR coaches under Drury, FOUR. Was it all FOUR of the coach's fault, or maybe just maybe it is Drury.

The guy is terrible at his job, not sure how many more coaches, and how much more evidence we need to see. The team he put together this season is a joke, they have about 5 or 6 forwards who have a chance to score, the rest are 4th line type players. The job he has done as Pres/GM is really awful.

Drury has managed this roster brutally. There’s absolutely no plan.

Not sure what more Drury can do if players have NTCs and don't want to be traded, he has drafted light years better than Gorton who defied the odds and crapped out repeatedly with 1st round picks. Finally a GM who selects players over 6 feet tall instead of undersized guys with big hearts, no surprise Laba is up with the big team right away when he's 6'3" and 215. I don't know if a GM move changes anything if the guys on the roster are not giving 100% on the ice.
Criticizing Sullivan seems a tad premature. I love his defensive philosophy of challenging pucks in the neutral zone - creates turnovers leading to scoring chances and no more carrying the puck back into their own offensive zone to start a rush. It will all come down to what effort he can get from the roster. Missing Trocheck and Rempe hurts too.

When your coach plays a non NHL talent like Sheary who sucks and is old because he banging his niece, you are going to lose respect quick as the coach. Especially from your prospects. Berard and Othmann are playing uninspired, shit hockey for the Pack. I'm probably pretty sure they both have requested trades and rightly so. Perreault has 10 points in 9 games but didn't play last night. Hopefully, nothing serious as he will be up sooner than later because the Rangers suck moose dick offensively. I'm starting to think the coach for the Pack is a moron. Overall, the team is under achieving. They blow leads almost every fucking game in the third period.

Any moron who doesn't think this entire thing should be blown up is clueless. Miller looks like a shell of himself. He can't hit the broad side of a barn with his shot. Zibanedouche hasn't been able to finish for years now. Fox finally gets his d partner and he's more fucking clueless than ever. I'd prefer they trade their vets for NHL ready prospects to contending teams.

Everyone knows this but except for Panarin you have guys signed forever at big money. Teams are not lining up for this.

I hear you Dump but if they don't want to be traded then you get messy situations like Goodrow and Trouba. The Rangers should be playing more youth if this is all a veteran lineup can give. I liked the Miller trade as Chytil's been injured a few more times, thought he was a good choice for C but it seems like his skills are slipping.

Unless Miller is playing hurt. He would be the type to do that and not say anything. The cap goes up every year. NHL salaries given out this year are absurd. Players like Fox, Zibanedouche and Miller are now a bargain if they go somewhere else and a new team gets their game back.

The Panarin situation will play itself out, he'll be gone by the trade DL, and for sure won't be here next season. That's $11.625M opening up. Plus Soucy's $3.25M also opens up after this season.

To me the # 1 guy they should do everything they can do to trade is Zibanejad. I'm so done with him, I think his game is a not even close to what it used to be, plus I think he is soft mentally as well. I would make every effort possible to move him.

As for Fox, I certainly wouldn't be averse to moving him, his game has also regressed big time, hard to believe this guy won the Norris a few years back, so I have no issue dealing him. With that said, if given the choice I say Zibanejad is by far the # 1 guy I'd look to move. Fox, I think can still salvage his game and get it back, Zibanejad I think is 100% cooked with regards to being a top-level player.

As for the kids, to me multiple things can be true. I'd play Othmann and Perreault, what do you have to lose, the issue is none of the kids the Rangers have will be difference makers. Maybe Perreault will be a top 6 forward, maybe, but that's it. So, play them for sure, why not, nothing to lose, but they are not making the Rangers a competitive team, we have no kid who will raise the level of this team and be a difference maker, sad but true reality.

I think Miller is frustrated and rightly so. Playing with heartless buffoons.

How much longer is Trochek out for? They need him back in the worst way. I don't know if his presence moves the needle enough to make a difference but his absence is pretty significant.

I saw he started practicing, so I'd have to guess he'd be back this week sometime barring a setback. They do need him back badly, this team needs every forward healthy as they don't have enough competent scorers even when fully healthy, let alone if anyone is out.

Dolan needs to wake up from his drunken slumber and start firing people.

Rear view mirror stuff, but they should've kept Kreider, they have nobody around the net.

I rather have Gavrikov than Kreider, and we could not afford both. What they should have done is never ever panic trade for Soucy and his $3.25M cap hit and then make it worse by not moving him this past summer and using his $3.25M for another 3rd line forward. That's just the latest ball dropping by no plan Chris Drury.

What they should do now is get Perreault back up here and play him with Zibanejad and Miller, and move Cuylle to the 3rd line, where he's a perfect fit and gives us balance and depth. You know, go with the lineup they were 3-0 with...crazy thought.

I'd have to agree with the guy who struggles to remember his password and has had to change his user name a few times since his original member name of ChuckD. Even though Gavrikov brings nothing to the table offensively, he is a great pair with Fox. He is strong defensively, plays with some physicality and seems like he can hold up for the entire season.
They really needed to add some offensive talent this off season though and the only thing they did in that regard was bring up Laba. Sheary and Raddysh are JAGs. They drafted these other forwards who showed some offensive ability in juniors/college but don't give them a meaningful shot. It's fucking baffling.

Wrong. Soucy had ZERO value at the end of last year for starters. Second, we have way too many third line forward prospects that aren't here already because our dumb fuck GM brought in Shearshit and Raddshit. Third, Soucy has actually played well so far. Next year Fortescue will give Schneider his first real lefty D partner since he's been here.

At this point I would try to trade Fox and Zibanejad for starters. Tell them they will be scratched if they don't accept a deal because the team is going to do a full rebuild now. They will accept a trade. After last game I'm not sure about keep Miller either. You're going to have to retain some salary on Miller and Zibanejad. Probably not Fox.

This is the first season I can remember in decades not caring about the team this early on. I watched some of the preseason and bits and pieces of most of the games so far and they are worse than ever. We need our top guys to sign off on deals. I agree with telling them their playing time is going to be cut considerably to allow for some of the young guys to step in.
