You are a better defender than Mo.
True, but I'm not on the active roster

You are a better defender than Mo.

What an absolutely terrible idea and thread.
Mo was fucking terrible last night and I blame his bullshit antics that he pulled with their team on Game 4. Nice fucking job stirring up shit and causing them to fucking get angry. Then Mo goes and lays a fucking egg. He deserved that shit.
And who the fuck let's Jeremy Lin (whose hobbling around almost as bad as Bev) torch them over and over. Lin isn't that good, but apparently is better than MO?
Fuck me.
It amazes me of this "I'm tired of mo" shit! FACT... Wthout Mo, we would have lost game 4 without question. He is a streak player, but a vet. Barton is still a player that plays out of control. Fuck that noise!
You're acting like I'm saying, "give all of Mo's minutes to Barton!"
I'm saying give Barton some minutes if our bench is struggling. This isn't a throw from left field. The guy was in the rotation at the end of the season. I think he'd be a nice change of pace to throw at the rockets if Lin starts giving us trouble.
Tired of watching Mo get absolutely torched by Jeremy Lin. I'd like to see what Barton could do against him. He's taller, he's longer, and he's more athletic. I don't think Lin would be able to do jack shit.
Lin won the game for them tonight.
Well this is what you wrote...
Anyone that reads that, would definitely assume you want Barton to replace Mo in minutes... Also, in the game threads, you've been saying how you don't want mo to even be in the game. Just Sayin'
That's not true. I don't mind Mo playing, but I think Terry gives him too long of a leash. Sometimes it's obvious that he's off and yet Terry just keeps playing him. I'm merely saying that if Mo isn't on in game six, we should try Barton.
Lin isn't that bad either. Maybe he's not a star, and he certainly isn't as good as Goran Dragic (who they should have kept), but he's a decent player.
I'll come out and say I do not want Mo to play at all. He almost always does more bad than good.
Leonard shouldn't be playing, not this year.
I agree that either Lopez or Freeland should play though, IMO for the entire game, unless Aldridge somehow becomes much much better defending the paint by Friday. I would like to see some Freeland/T-Rob together. Playing Aldridge with Robinson didn't work, neither did Stotts' insistence on playing at least two starters all the time. We had two starters playing throughout Houston's 15-0 run to finish the 1st, start the 2nd, didn't give us any advantage obviously.
I also would like to once again question not having Claver even on the bench. I think he's able to contribute more than at least 3 players sitting on the bench. I understand Stotts likes Watson as insurance but Claver can actually make us better.
And there was a middle school girls junior varsity team in attendance. We let Jeremy Lin beat us last night. Jeremy Lin. Why? Because Mo can't defend an ottoman. Sure, offense is good. And sometimes Mo is on. But sometimes you need to stop a hot hand, and at least disrupt their flow. I think Barton would have given us a better chance at that than Mo did. Especially since Mo wasn't even 'on'. And don't get me started on Wright. Can someone smarter than me tell me why Wright got so many minutes? He was the worst player in the building in the first half. Where was TRob when we needed him?
I agree with Nate on this one. I think Mo will be Good Mo in game 6, but if he isn't, pull him and give Barton a couple. Barton is a much better defender than Mo or CJ and can add that Thomas Robinson energy the team needs at times. If Barton flounders, then pull him and do something else. I could easily see him stepping up though. He loves big games.
Yeah, and I'm not even talking 15 minutes. I'm talking like 5 where he comes in, pushes the ball, and attacks the rim. I think he could jolt the Rockets a bit because he plays unlike any of our other wings.
Not to mention he has a nose for the ball inside and might draw a foul or two from the Houston big guys because they aren't used to his motion. Not sure Stotts will take the chance though. More likely he goes all in with more starter minutes.
Mo will win the next game and bounce back, then everyone will sing his praises. He's not a pt guard, he's a volume shooting 6 man, our new version of Jamal Crawford. Mo gets 15 pts and LA gets 20 last game and we win by 10.
