Interesting. I had assumed Tyler Herro was white until I heard him speak. I guess he just has an extreme case of vitiligo.

This shit is all made up from the Miami media. I heard a Media guy on Saturday from Miami on NBA radio scream about how much Portland disrespected Herro. What is so fucking difficult to understand about Herro being a duplication and therefore not a need. No one was disrespecting him.

The Heat are the laughing stock of the NBA right now.

I listened to Zach Lowe, he laughed at them. I listened to The NBA Front Office podcast with Keith Smith and they were laughing at Miami. We posted a link to Bobby Marks last night just raging on Miami and their media. We have resoundingly dunked all over Pat Riley, Aaron Goodwin, and the Miami Heat.

EXACTLY.

LeBatard with some real insight here.

"Cronin is like Eric Spoelstra. Intern to power in a dream job, did it on interim and now is responsible for the whole place. Started as an intern and now runs the place. And in that time, the relationship gets built between the general manager and the employee, in all that time. But Cronin is now in his dream job with the pressure of, 'you better not blow this!' You've got to protect your job. Not Damian Lillard's job. Not Damian Lillard's feelings. Your job is the one that needs to be protected here, and in that crossroads you TORCH your relationship with Damian Lillard. Torch it. Set it up in flames because he was trying to be careful about how he did that, he wanted to come back and now you're running him out the door. But if those players are healthy, that's a haul. That's a haul for Damian Lillard at this stage of his career with that contract. And they did get something better than what the Miami Heat had to offer."

This is a really good listen. I think they have a good understanding of Joe's situation and why he did what he did.

Im feelin high, like I smoked sum Hawaiian.
Could act kinda sad, but I'd be lyin.
It's been a while, since the team looked young
I know for sure....that the best is to come.

It's a new era, here comes a new stamp.
Feeling kinda giddy, for Blazers camp.
Many of the teams, got a bit older,
Some of them, lookin over their shoulder.

Cuz now we comin, with some young guns,
May not win at first, be it's gonna be fun.
We'll push it and fly, lob and dunk
Sharpe be so high, have to face his junk

Cheap seats or suites, ain't gonna be bored
Might even watch, the "Hustle board".
No matter the record, it's a team that's made right
World gonna see, how the young Blazers fight.

Smoked some hawaiian? The PNW stuff is far better.

not a lebatard fan by any means. but at least he’s finally figured it out re: dame.

What an odd situation, to have to answer a question like that. Feels like we've lost all class as a species haha.

Also, I like our current roster better than Miami's roster...and I bet Pat Riley does too! I would be shocked if Miami even makes the playoffs this season (not that we will, of course).
We would make it if we were in the east...

Thought I’d bump this up so we can gloat. Hope the heat don’t even make the playoffs this year. Cocky play-in team that went on a hot streak and thought they could run it back without major moves because of their “culture.”

If you hadn't said that was Miami, I would have assumed San Antonio or Detroit.... or us.

one of the Heat bots wanted to get Bruce Brown. That's the first player i've heard that makes any sense for Miami. I've seen clips of Duncan Robinson offering 0 weakside help defensively this season. We also saw how starting Caleb Martin over Tyler Herro got the Heat to the Finals.

Will Miami make more moves at the trade deadline? All i know is Heat fans complain about everything, but direct it towards the players who aren't causing the problems.

“We have never shopped him and had no interest in ever trading the guy,” Riley said of Herro,

Sure they didn't....

“For the teams that didn’t want me, that’s on you. For the team’s that do want me, you’ll see why you want me,” he said.

Yeah we're watching bro.

Spoelstra is waayyyy overrated. Had Bosh/Wade/LeBron and only won 2 titles. Barely. And if the culture was so great, why did LeBron give up “not 5, not 6..” for Cleveland?

Just three weeks ago I was engaging Heat fans on Twitter who still were butthurt over the Dame thing and trying to get over by rewriting history that they offered Herro/Jovic./JJJ/1RP/1RP swap for Lillard and we'd have gotten Ayton separate of that trade anyway. They were gloating that we didn't get enough for Dame, that they offered the best package and Cronin was a fool not to accept it, but they were lucky he didn't.

Funny thing is I remember these same fans telling me that they didn't have to trade both JJJ and Jovic and maybe not even Herro and we had no choice but to accept.

My, how the turntables.

I looked at Miami's schedule. They have 8 upcoming games on National TV and 3 on NBA TV. I think fans are going to want their money back. Unless of course folks want the Heat to lose.

Miami is in a 7 game losing skid. They're getting used to taking a beating.
