We might be able to get 6 more rappers. Last year Voodoo Child wanted in, but wasn't cause we forgot to notify him. Phundamentalz is another person who I'm sure will want in. I also remember Remedy and some others were complaining about how they couldn't join in the summer sign up thread. We just need to advertise LOL

Well, a few potential competitors have volunteered to be judges, so that limits the number right there. I think we also have to look for reliable members who post in this forum regularily. A lot of people expressed interest after the fact, but the reason they found out so late is because they rarely post.

I don't know. I think we wait another week or so, and if not we'll have to cut some people. We can't do the wild card thing again, though. That almost ruined our last tournament.
 
What about Shard? He posts regularly.. I think? Someone should PM him.
 
Rank all the people, whoever are the last four ranked, then they should have to battle for the last two spots in the tournament.

The point of that is to get the best matchups last. Like the NBA playoffs.

People who haven't competed won't be factored in, but we have to make a decision over whether we want it ranked or completely random.
 
Have 2 wildcard matches and then winners are in....leaving 8
 
How about the winners of the 2 vs. 2 battle choose 2 matchups. The winners of those matchups will be in the tourney and the other two are eliminated.

Nah why should we have anything to say about who should be eliminated. Maybe we should make a thread and put every person who wants to battle in a poll for who has to be in the Wildcard. The four members that get the most votes have to battle.

Would the people vote for whoever they wanted to see in a wildcard battle? Or do they vote on who they think needs earn their spot into the tourney by a wildcard battle.
 
OK, I'm currently trying to get 6 more people to come join. I've sent PM's to posters who are active in this forum and such and hopefully we can get enough. If not, I'm going to cut the last two people who signed up. I know that's kind of harsh, but this whole wild card battle for the last spot is what we're trying to avoid and really wastes time. Any thoughts on all that?
 
It wastes time, but we have time to waste until Winter break time.

We need to set up an exact date as well.

Phundamentalz, Gotskillz, didn't Iron Shiek say he wanted in the next time we did this. I can talk to Remedy to see if he wants in as well.

edit: Gotskillz says he wants in the tournament.
 
Added gotskillz. Let's see if we can add a couple more people. Another judge wouldn't hurt either
 
How long is GotSkillz suspended for?

BTW, Chutney who have you sent PM's to? I can help with PM'ing people if you need it.
