Like I said, its not beef, I can insult anybody on the internet.

Plus I don't live on JBB, these days mostly all my posts are one lines in the off topic.

How you gonna say I was slow when you were equally slow? Isn't that the definition of irony? Yeah, you never bothered to explain that, because it makes no sense at all.

When I said you were equally slow typing your verse you came out of nowhere with comments about how I don't have a life, making excuses for your equally slow rebuttal.

Look at this: I wake up at around 12 o'clock on weekends. I brush my teeth, shower, and eat breakfast till 12:30. I have league practice at 12:45-5:00. As soon as it turns 5:00, I have to eat dinner, I finish in about 30 minutes. After that, I go outside to work with my friend for about an hour, till it gets dark. And then, my mom wants me to clean up, and stuff. So like I said, I will try my hardest to find some time in the middle or on the weekend, dude trust me, I will try really hard to find time and get some verses in.

I never dissed you for taking long, yet you couldn't come up with anything and dissed me in the battle and dissed me again when I said it doesn't take long to do a verse. Makes no sense.

I'm done with the issue, true irony exposed in Gotskillz calling me slow and making excuse for why he took just as long. See you in the tourney homeboy.

yeah but isn't that part of the fun? seems like you're going to have a dilemma if on on the hand we have battles and on the other hand JBB has a policy of no flaming....

I understand what you're saying, however, I feel as if the situation could have escalated into something bigger. I don't mind a little trash talking here and there, but I think we were flirting with the inappropriate, so I deemed it necessary to delete a few posts. Besides, shouldn't we be posting things of that nature in the "discussion thread"?
 
The so called "beef" would have added more spice to the actuals battles, but I'm not even in the same brackets as Gotskillz, MrJ, etc.
 
Umair, I understand that you're busy, but you don't have to do all the lines at once. My point is that you can write a set of lines and then adjust them based on what your opponent gives you. For example, if you're going to write 15 lines, you can pre-write about 10 and no one will notice the difference. Then when you go to post them, you can read your opponents rap and get some material for the last couple of verses. And you can also adjust your pre-written ones accordingly. I'm going to be doing something similar to make sure I don't spend as much time on writing as I did in the last tourney. If you still find it too busy, I'll have to give Karma a bye or something, but I think you'll be able to manage.

By the way, I encourage everyone who might be a bit busy in the upcoming weeks to do the same thing. Writing verses shouldn't be as time consuming as I see for a lot of you.

I'll PM CLos soon about that last spot. And I'll probably give him the last spot or something.

Alright, I'm here. I'm try to keep up to date and join in on the rap battles.
 
OK, we got CLos as a replacement for J_Ray (thanks for coming up on such short notice, CLos). But, this probably means the matchups will be different, because we can't just stick him in at J_Ray's old spot. It wouldn't be fair.

Good news: We have 4 unranked battlers, so we can make the bracket fair to everyone. CLos will face S.Livingston14, and I'll just move everyone ranked below J_Ray up a spot.

Bad news: I'm sure some people have pre-written some of their lyrics and this change is kind of sudden. I didn't want to change all the matchups so close to the start of the tournament, but J_Ray's sudden departure gave me no choice.




EDIT: OK, so Umair is suspended for a little bit. So I think we might be forced to give Karma a first round bye.

EDIT: I've got everything finished, but before I post it, I want to know if everyone is alright with Karma getting a bye. I know he wants to battle someone right away too, so I'm sorry to him and everyone else about these sudden changes. But, with two people suddenly leaving so close to the tournament, I had no choice.
 
Umair should be free to post by Friday, so I don't think it's necessary to give Karma a bye.
