Official Lillard Crush Thread

Is there any doubt that this guy would have challenged Anthony Davis for #1 overall pick if he'd played at Duke, UNC, or Kentucky?

I know it's summer league. I know we've seen numbers like this before from Jerryd Bayless and Qyntel Woods, but I would counter that by saying:

1. The summer league has changed a lot since Woods. Better teams, better players. I think there was even some celeb team or some shit back when we were going to SL games in LA.

2. Jerryd Bayless had to work for his numbers. Lillard makes it look so effortless, like he know's it's just summer league and he's barely trying but still putting up amazing numbers.

I really like his confidence and his overall approach to the game. I think we put him with Aldridge, Batum, and Hickson and this guy is going to do great things.

yeah a lot of doubt, with a huge premium on skilled bigs and AD being 3 years younger.

I had my doubts, but he's winning me over. This last game in particular showed me a lot of range in his floor game; he was mixing his scoring and passing almost perfectly.

Regret: I was in Ogden during the draft and "Damian Lillard Day", but couldn't go because I didn't have access to my car.

I am not saying he is BRoy, but in the brief minutes Roy played in the summer league, he made it look easy. This has the same feeling.

Having said that I am prepared for an up and down season. But that is fine because there is finally hope at the point.

Probably never if he's good and a legitimate regular season NBA PG. He stayed for 4 years in Ogden, Utah, when he clearly could have transferred to a larger program.
