And Sacramento won it. No chance at the 5 now.

Damn I was hoping for #5.
We're gettig screwed already! :MARIS61:
It's funny - they always talk about how teams that intentionally tank, always end up with the short straw. NJ obviously tanked that final game, and Sacto put forth the effort to win. So Sacto and NJ end up tied, but in the end, NJ mailed it in, so they "lose" the toss.
losing the toss changes things for the blazers, but it changes almost nothing for NJ. they only lost 1 combination out of 1000, so their odds of keeping the pick are effectively the same.
if sac goes on to win a top 3 and NJ doesn't THEN you can cite karma, but it doesn't really work at this point![]()
No, I know. It was more sarcasm - I was taking trying to be all dramatic and channeling my inner-mixum.
We may have to trade up a spot or two from both spots but Beal and Marshall are within reach!
in that case you should say the BLAZERS are being punished for tanking : )

Gerald Wallace says he'll test free agency. He has a one year player option worth 9.5 million with incentives
There's no way Deron stays on that team. I almost hope we don't get the pick this year. It might be even better next season.
If they lose Deron and Wallace they will be horrible. But it still is top 2 protected.
Bondy: Important quote from D-Will: "Is there really a perfect situation out there?" Answer: No, not with enough cap space to sign a max player.
"It'd be great to be a part of that 1st game, that 1st team there & have a legacy." --@DeronWilliams on BK & @barclayscenter #netswrapup
Asked what he needs in a team to sign, @DeronWilliams prioritizes winning, "somewhere that's headed in the right direction."
"Deron Williams said with a smile that he went into the Nets locker room in Barclays Center and picked out his new locker."
The 3rd pick is still better than the 7th (if that's where we end up).
All this means is that, barring a NJ miracle, POR will likely be picking 6th or 7th....
There's no way Deron stays on that team.
