FED just announced no rate hike. Whoever is president next is gonna have to deal with the raised interest rates that is going to totally crash the economy, probably a few months into their presidency.

Honestly, I think Trump would probably have the best advisors and plan around him to bear through what is going to be a lot worse than the 2009 + the housing bubble pop.

All this other shit is going to be minuscule for what is coming. The economy of the United States will totally collapse.

I'm curious what his tax plan is that is going to be released in a few weeks. Some think the low income earners will only be taxed 1%, middle 10%, upper middle 15% and upper 20%

Yeah, that's not going to happen.

I didn't get that.

"nothing symbolically needs to be changed and that we need to do it with our actions instead"

I wrote that goes for black people, too.

I never said I believed what she said. I said she gave the best answer (of the people who I don't agree with).
BLM isn't proposing any changes that would only help Black people. They would help us all.

No. He is a much better debater than Clinton. He trounced her in those debates.
Obama is the worst "off the cuff speaker" I've seen in a long long time. He is the master of the teleprompter. He is excellent at delivering what is laid out right in front of his eyes. When you see debates, interviews or whatnot that have him without notes, he stutters, fumbles and isn't focused.

Clinton's follies is she is a compulsive liar, so you can confront her on so many lies. Any win against her are those that bring out her dirty laundry, so she can't talk about the issues she's actually pretty good at.

Just because you hate the man doesn't mean any of that is true. This is a really foolish post. Your hate is shining through here. Don't let your hate cloud you from the truth.

I can't tell who I'm running against:

My hate for Obama has nothing to do with his public speaking. He doesn't have the best interest of America and has no backbone vs anyone outside the boundaries of the USA.

I do like how Obama talked about how Reagan was really good at convincing democrats to vote against their very principles for a united front.

Question: has Obama been able to convince the republicans to vote against their party principles for a united front? I know Bill Clinton did.

Insert @dviss1 rant on why republicans are evil and hate Obama here...

I lost a ton of respect when Obama called out republicans for the federal government shutdown. That's the sign of a terrible leader. When you point fingers at the other side saying they are holding up the deal. A good leader gets both sides working together

IMO they do hate him. They call him "Liar" in a joint session of congress (never been done. He should've finished his sentence the way he wanted to with a N or a boy). They stood lock step against THEIR OWN policies. Obamacare is a Republican Plan and always has been since Bob Dole put it forward as a response to Hillary Care. Yes I do think they hate the N in the White House.

Sooo the Brinksmanship of bringing our Govt to a shutdown doesn't offend you more? Wow...

Republicans negotiate with a gun.

That's besides the point. Even when you deal with the hardest person to deal with in the entire world, you never point fingers because it makes the problem even harder to deal with. Were the republicans hard to deal with? Probably. But a good leader gets both sides working together, not more adversarial.

:D like clockwork

Yes, but you missed the point. The point is your hate for him (and a whole lot of right-wing nonsense about teleprompters) makes you think he's a terrible public speaker, when in fact he's quite a good public speaker.

(CNN)For anyone who watched Wednesday night's Republican primary debate with the volume turned down, there was a clear winner, communication experts say: Donald Trump, hands down.

"When it comes to body language, nobody does it better," says David Givens, director of the Center for Nonverbal Studies in Spokane, Washington. "He just neutralizes the opposition."

While Trump's opponents appear to be "wooden," Givens says, Trump is "exceptional" at communicating with his body.

"Nobody has done it this well since John F. Kennedy. Or Mussolini," Givens says, referring to the founder of Fascism, who ruled Italy from 1922 to 1943.

The message Trump communicates is that he's the alpha male and a force to be reckoned with, says Nick Morgan, a communication expert and author of "Power Cues: The Subtle Science of Leading Groups, Persuading Others and Maximizing Your Personal Impact."

When his opponents say something he doesn't like, he purses his lips, much the way a parent might scowl at a misbehaving child. Trump faces his opponents with his torso, not just his head, showing he's not afraid of them. Appearance is an important part of body language, and his voluminous hair speaks volumes, signaling he's not afraid to be noticed.

These types of gestures are universal, but they contradict the conventional wisdom about how presidential candidates should present themselves in public.

"I've coached candidates, and the prevailing wisdom has been that politicians should appear dignified, presidential, in control of their emotions. What he's doing is something new, more like a celebrity or a reality TV star -- and it's working," Morgan says.

But will it work in the long run?

"Does the public want a reality TV star in the White House? That's the question we're all dying to have answered," Morgan says.

I guess we can agree to disagree then. I just don't see it. I will say, he's very good at showing strength

Yes, when he hums and haws, searching for the right pc word, I bet you have already filled in the blank. Come on! Pull your head out! The guy is a crappy speaker but a very good liar.
