This is why i didnt like the pick. He'd be great if he was a 7 footer, but he's not. Even Z-Bo, with all his craftiness, was never an efficient scorer or good defender. Hes gonna have to be able to hit 3s to be effective enough to have a positive impact, but i definitely question his shooting. He had a wide open 3 today and missed so bad that he banked it in.
How do you know he didn't call glass?

I guess I'm still confused on who's a millennial. :dunno::huh::smiley-unsure:

In MY mind, a millennial is a person born in 1999-2001-ish, who's now a budding college student, who bases their life on their feelings instead of common sense, and who make up unrealistic fantasies for themselves about how they FEEL things should be, instead of accepting reality about how the real world around them actually is.

I was born in 1983, so I'm safe. :bgrin:

I’m an ‘83er, too!

Best of times!

I enjoyed them even though I was only like 10 when they ended. Wrestling was awesome then at least.

Dude, EVERYTHING was awesome in the 1990s, except some mass produced domestic cars (although we had Fords, and they were all very good cars with the exception of 1). The music was great, the TV shows and movies were great, sports was epic, the clothes were awesome (JNCO Fatboys....I miss you!), and yeah, even the wrestling was epic!

I can't recall anything negative about the 1990s. I sure as hell wish we could turn back the clock. Times were much simpler then.

Just a reminder to some to take what you see in these games with a grain of salt. Nic Batum looked like shit his rookie summer and then when on to start for us. Qyntel Woods looked like Jordan and well, you know how that went.
What I take from this 1st game, we will miss Ed’s toughness on the defensive end, Baldwin is our back up PG and Lil Penny is going to spend a lot of time in the G.

Is this copy and pasted from what you wrote last year, or are you a "Fams Bot." (Not that it's not correct).

I don't necessarily disagree, but not sure how you concluded that from a summer league game, let alone the team's first SL game.

Baldwin is our back up PG
One writer wrote that he looked liked the best player on either team. No argument, Baldwin deserves serious minutes this year.

and Lil Penny is going to spend a lot of time in the G.
You may be right, but this was your guess BEFORE the SL game, so it's being disingenuous to claim that that's what you saw from the game.... Unless you want to elaborate.

Weren't the 1990s great? :biglaugh:

I bet it was as living under mommy and daddy's roof having most things all taken care of for you and hardly a worry is a tough life. Then in later years reality sets in and you become responsible for your own life and have to adjust. :bgrin:

My parents charged me rent when I was 15. I did seasonal work on a farm to pay for it. So I'm not sure I'm the best example to use. Maybe talk to barfo or Uncle Cliffy. :ygrin:

This is exactly why you're just as bad as kingspeed sometimes.
HCP - 'Portland will miss Davis' toughness. I figured this out from SL.'
Kingspeed - 'GSW can't guard us. I figured this out by playing as Portland in 2k and beating GSW by 50.'

Your are FUCKING crazy to compare me to that kid. Look at the whole body of work before you compare our posts. Thats an insult bro.

Whoa, that's like the biggest insult you could give HCP.

I'm still not convinced you're a real person. I think you're just a myth that @SlyPokerDog created to scare people. Like an urban legend.

People THINK they see you out of the corner of their eye....but when they look, POOF.....gone.

So through most of the 90's ( by your admission you would have been 15 sometime in 1998) you were being taken care of by your parent, thus you thinking it was so great. My point still stands. Exactly how much rent were you paying in 1998?

And yet, what IS your point here? Were YOU not taken care of by your parents at some point in your life? Or is this just yet another attempt by you to start an argument with someone because you don't like them?

And to answer your question: $100/month.

I'M STILL GOING TO OUR SUMMER LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP PARADE!

I think you got the point and yes I was taken care of by my parents which was never the point, but we need to end this so as not to hijack the thread. Have a nice day.

So you WERE just popping up here to be a nuisance. Okay. Just say that next time so that we can ignore your posts. No need for you to hijack a thread because a Trump avatar offends you.

No, I just throw them down the stairs at the Moda.

MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I'm still waiting on that injury settlement, by the way. I called your lawyer, and all he sent me was a dog bone.

I'm not impressed, Sly. NOT IMPRESSED!

I always thought a millennial was defined as the first generation who doesn't know what life was like without the internet and cell phones..I was born in 82 and I can remember growing up without those things, so I don't consider myself a millennial. Anyone born after 89 or so will have no memory of the world as it once was, and that is who I consider a millennial. Go Blazers!
