I'd trade Meyers for a bag of popcorn. Butter please.

what player exactly?
These are the players I would offer right now in a trade Myers Henderson kaman and I would take Lee off there hands and plus 2 2nd. Lee contract expire at the end of the year but most importance he can still and give us that 3 scorer rest of the year.

Lee is horrible. He isn't even starting for them. He's a shadow of what he was.

Yeah, I keep seeing Lee's name. Uh, no.

Lee don't play in Boston due to there doing the same that we are doing playing there young guys. You give them kaman for lee and 2 2nd. The reason they due it they lower there cap plus they can just buy out kaman. The reason we due I think lee can still play but really is the 2 2nd picks. Right now they would have the 31 and 37 that's the one I would ask for.

Bones do you even realize how often there are trades that involve more than two teams? It's extremely rare.

Even more rare? The 13 (THIRTEEN!) player trade!
New Orleans is a secondary part. If you're a good GM you can make it work.

First we'd be in discussions with SAC. Then we'd call NO and say, hey, we're making a bigger trade, we'll take Asik off your hands and give you (those 4 players) contigent upon you sending Anderson to SAC. They say yes, then we call up SAC and tell them that we've gotten a deal with NO where they'd get Anderson, where they would then accept him with CJ/Meyers/Plumlee/Picks

Dude, Lee doesnt play for Boston lol

He plays for the Grizzlies...

Four weeks to go.

And its been extremely quiet on the trade front around the league.

I keep hearing on Podcasts and NBA radio shows that the reason its so quiet is that not many teams have really given up on the season so there are a ton of Buyers and few if any sellers.

So, what you're saying is...now would be the time to trade players for picks and really go for the tank? :devilwink:

Usually, it's one or two moves that the rest of the league is waiting on. Once the big moves are settled, the rest of the teams can go about their ways.

This year, we are probably waiting on PHX and NOP to figure out what to do with Morris and Anderson, respectively.

You certainly could ask for a high price since they are so many buyers. CJ for 3 unprotected 1st rounders from the suns.

I doubt that there are 10 players in the league for whom you could get 3 unprotected #1's. CJ is not one of them.

I kinda like this next trade.
We basically act as a salary dump for the Suns but in return we get a player who is a pretty good fit for Damien in the back-court.
We can add Morris too, but i don't think you guys are ready for it yet.

Managing minutes for Bledsoe would be a bit tricky, but i thought about something along the lines of him starting with Dame, bench him at the 4:00 mark for CJ,then bring him at the start of the 2nd qrtr instead of Dame until in the 7:00 minute mark.
He should get 24-28 minutes every game and if it doesn't work out we still got a great trade asset in our hands.

Chandler has 4 years on his contract though. He'll be 37 by the time it's up.

I'm sorry--why exactly would the Suns give up their best player for nothing?

I just learned Bledsoe suffered yet another season ending knee injury. I don't want him even if it's straight up for Leonard and Frazier.

What kind of assets is he expecting to get back for those guys? Sadly,
I doubt we'd get even a low second round pick at the most. Meyers recent play makes him worth about as much as a used mustard dispenser at the Memorial Coliseum. We got a lot of guys who need time to develop. Guess we have to wait it out.

Suns are desperate to unload Morris...he'll have to be the guy you trade for with Phoenix I think.. they'd probably take Meyers for him
