Looks like there will be a lot of cheap PF's available after the deadline for the teams who are desperate for depth.
 
My guess is its Lee for Lin or Roberts. Grizz do it because they're looking to trade Conley and need a PG to replace him. Charlotte does it because they could use another wing defender.
 
I was right. Roberts, Hairston, and two 2nds to Memphis. They did this move today to give them 2 full days to shop Conley

He's expiring, Gasols out for the year, they have no chance at contending and don't have pieces to buy so they are looking to sell.

Which is why they sold Courtney Lee for PJ Hairston and 4 Second Round Picks.
 
Courtney Lee makes 5 mil/yr, age 30, on the last year of his contract, career 10ppg scorer from the SG position, a solid defender.

He got MEM PJ Hariston and 2 second rounders.

Lot of parallels to what we can expect for Henderson I believe
 
I think Henderson can get a late first instead of a 2 seconds but ya, we won't be bowled away by the offers.

4 second rounders and Henderson's a little more valuable.

I think Hendo has a more rounded game, I think a late first and a prospect is a possibility.

Yeah but they just re-signed Gasol last summer, I thought he and Conley were the corner stones of the franchise. I guess if they don't think they can re-sign Conley, but I thought he and Galso were tight.

I think they still resign Conley. They can pay him more than any other team. They are probably not sure he deserves the new super max. That is the only hesitation. To be honest he doesn't deserve it but if you don't pay guys more to keep them then you are rebuilding. Don't think MEM is ready to rebuild (Gasol is too old to go through it).

That would great if they traded him....to the east. I think he is one of the best in the league.
 
They're are many desperate teams willing to give him the max, with the Knicks at the top of that list. I'm not so sure the Grizz can resign him.
