I'd think its unlikely they do any moves now; their key guys are on multi year deals and they want to win as many games to not give away the #1 pick.

Yea, most leaks to the press are from the agents to the reporters. Front-office people are rarely the ones that seem to be leaking rumors these days.

Yeah I'm a bit concerned because I think we likely end up with nothing and it'll be a missed opportunity. With the cap rising players under contract, even overpaid, are worth more than cap space.

Ha, you think you're ready? Neil's got multiple phones working at the same time right now - he's working his hair gel off.

After the deadline, he's going to find some more hair gel and book a long vacation - and deserved so.

Well kind of hard for me to know exactly whats out there since everything we hear is half rumors. Channing Frye seems like a player we could absorb with space and he has a lot of interest throughout the league. Very high RPM. Basically what we hope Meyers can one day become. Tobias Harris was acquired for expirings. Taj Gibson is a valued role player on what will be a cheap contract next year and would get the Bulls out of luxury tax. Sacramento wants a SG; could we flip Hendo and Kaman for Koufous?

Maybe Neil will get a deal done but if not its a waste of the cap space he held onto since the summer. The cap space will be nearly worthless next summer. It won't be horrible if we stand pat but it'll feel like a missed opportunity.

I agree with you but I'm trying to come up with names to target. I like taj gibson but he would just take minutes away from Vonleh and Leonard. I would love to deal Henderson to sac for McLemore. What if we absorbed joakim noah contract and got snell with it? I've always liked him

lol, taking minutes away from Vonleh and Biebs is PRECISELY the point of getting a PF.
 
I had a dream we traded Meyers for Rudy Gobert. Is that a crazy trade?
 
It would disappoint me if we didn't move Henderson.

He will walk in the summer. Meaning we'll get just Noah in return for Nic.

This is eerily similar to last year. A few trades like Kanter to OKC opened the flood gates in the last few hours.

At worst we break even. The millions might not bring us what we all want, but it will at least bring someone as good as Nic.
