I hate to tell.....well, I don't hate to tell you because I think it is hilarious...anyway. I think they have done nothing but increase his chances of a second term. Disagree if you want but there are a ton of signs out there if you don't watch MSNBC or CNN all day.

So his legacy will likely be the first President to be impeached and then win a second term.
By a landslide. Could approach 400 electoral votes.

They keep pretending that they know he isn't going to be convicted in the Senate and that they don't care. If they were honest they would admit they secretly hope that those evil Republicans snap out of it and vote to convict.
Trump will not be convicted in the Senate where the real trial is supposed to take place. The House vote is more like an indictment rather than a trial.

Secret ballot lol. Such horseshit. What fuckin world do you live in bud? You want your government holding secret votes? All these precedents you want to set will fuck everybody in the future. Enjoy your little meaningless victory.
I didn't read his post as a blatant support of a secret vote but rather a scenario if there were a secret vote.
No, we don't hold secret votes, that I know of.

Prepare for impeachment hearings every four years until this current system we have collapses.

This is such a meaningless point. If a President commits a crime, then he/she will get impeached. What is so hard for you to understand?

No. Trump is corrupt for committing a very long series of corrupt actions over the last 50 years and right up to the present. It's about Trump. He's the president.

Other people being corrupt, or possibly being corrupt, doesn't absolve Trump. "He did it too" is not a defense unless you are 5 years old.

barfo
He did it too isn't the defense.

Let's say for 50 years Trump did just as bad or even worse in the private sector.

So what?

Even if Trump spent every moment of his Presidency trying to be as corrupt as possible it would take him 3000 years to catch up to the people trying to take him out. (10000 if he still tweets and plays golf)

C'mon JB...I know you're disappointed but that's not very realistic at all. But I will say that if we somehow have another lying, corrupt and dysfunctional POTUS like Trump, they deserve to be impeached, and rightly so.

Bush was a war criminal and was never impeached.

Bush was a war criminal and was never impeached.

Well, using that logic, we should also retroactively impeach Washington, Madison, Jackson, Lincoln, Roosevelt (both), Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, etc.

Moscow Mitch's strategy is to taunt Nancy as "too afraid" to start the Senate trial quickly. This is their strategy—Pelosi holds the cards.

Trumpers are bellyaching all over the place.

Trump garnered more impeachment article votes IN THE HISTORY of this country.

Fez is giddy with patriotism.

Mood as I walk out my front door:

Super happy for you. You needed a win really bad.

Sure it is probably like winning the lotto on your 105th birthday but at least you'll have a few days of happiness.

He is not going to win by a landslide. He didn't win by a landslide the 1st time. He barely won. If he wins again it will barel again...by the skin of his teeth.

Honest question - why do people think Impeachment helps Trump? Because non-voters before (2016) are now pissed off he got impeached and want to vote for him? And there's enough people in that bucket to make this now a landslide win? I dont get it. I cant imagine someone not liking Trump, he gets impeached, now they want to vote for him because of that? I know some people who didnt vote before will vote next time around, and some will be Dem and some Rep. But who changes their vote - or votes now - because of impeachment?

Depending on the person, it's either gaslighting or wishful thinking.

Almost everyone has made up their minds about Trump already; everything hinges on relative turnout. If you can motivate your voters and discourage the other side from showing up, you may win.

You're the type of person who claps when your plane lands.
I hate flying last year or so only had to do it a couple of times but for a while, it was really frequent and I definitely got excited every time we landed and I could get off that thing heh.

Those were the only two options you came up with heh.

I don't really think it helps or hurts him. It really seems like in the world of politics these days nothing matters.
