Well last night was crap, with almost everyone I wanted to win took a crapper and lost. Hopefully tonight the Blazers pull off a win, plus gain some ground in the other games playing tonight. I've decided to put the Eastern Conference teams, so there are more to vote on. Lets see how your "Want" translates to "What will really happen".
MAKE SURE YOU VOTE! Participation pushes me to keep this thing going!
1.) Washington Bullets @ Boston Celtics:
The Eastern Conference has been dismal this season. Even the top teams don't look like they have any chance in the West. Regardless, Washington looks to be one of the top teams in the East and we are shooting for the HCA throughout the playoffs. But I gotta like what Washington is doing. They got a good squad. Root for Boston!
2.) Denver Nuggets @ Atlanta Hawks:
This looks to be a total "snooze fest" game, but the Nuggets are in our division, so any loss is a good loss, unless they are playing teams that are in our weight class. I still trip on how the Atlanta fans aren't supporting this team! It's like another sport like "baseball" is more important or something?!?! Root for Atlanta!
3.) Miami Heat @ Memphis Griz:
Memphis hit a little "speed bump" on the road with a couple of losses, but they are still one of the best defenses in the league. They are one of the teams I wouldn't want to face in the playoffs without HCA. The obvious choice is hoping Wade and Bosh decide to go ham and wreck the Griz. Root for Miami
4.) OKC Thunder @ Detroit Pistons:
Could there be a team that's weaker than the Philly 76ers?! I introduce "Exhibit A", the Detroit Pistons, who just lost to Philly and looks like the team you want to face. I would love for them to use the loss to Philly as some sort of motivation and beat the thunder, but reality tells me that OKC will easily beat detroit. Still gotta root for the underdog. Root for Detroit!
5.) Milwaukee Bucks @ Dallas Mavericks:
The last time these two teams faced each other, Ellis had to shoot a clutch game winning shot. But that was in Milwaukee and this game is in Dallas. I expect Dallas to show up for this game, but maybe the match-up problems for Dallas could result in an upset. Root for Milwaukee!
6.) Portland Trailblazers @ New York Knicks:
This will obviously be the marquee game to watch for Blazer fans. With a win, we extend our road winning streak and stay undefeated vs. Eastern Conference Teams. Jinxspeed will be there to give us Clutch Karma! I worry about our team playing down to the competition, and the Knicks haven't won in like forever. Don't make this a trap game! Root for the Blazers!
7.) New Orleans Pelicans @ Loss Angeloss Lakers:
Like there is ever a reason to root against the Lakers?!?!?! But lets just play along. Pelicans have been in a slump as a team. AD is playing like a Beast, but his supporting cast didn't get the memo that he's the best big man in the game. Their selfish play reminds me of Westbrick taking the ball out of Durant's hands, but at least Westbrick is arguably one of the best PGs in the league. NOLA's wings have no business taking any shots away from AD unless he's being triple teamed! Root for Pelicans!
