Supporters and Bashers need to just take a look at the circumstances.
But very few were willing to do so. Only about 3 or 4 of us could.

You don't need insider to view PER
http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/holl.../insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics
Or you could go to http://www.basketball-reference.com/. They are great for advanced stats like PER.
WOW! Nene, Kevin Martin, Horford, Tyrus, Millsap,West, Gordon, S. Curry......... Didn't expect to see some of those names. Defense must NOT factor into PERS rankings.
How about Wes being ahead of JKidd?
On a side note, Nate, "concentrating" on work this week is a lost cause for me. PHX on Friday afternoon!!!! The 6am flight back on Tuesday won't be pretty, though, win or lose.
Yes, you could go there as well.
The stats are the same at both sites.
^ What is that pic of Wes from? That is weird!
No, Hollinger and Basketball-Reference (BR) calculate PER differently. Here are today's Top 5 compared. Same number of games. So it's not because one site updated tonight's games and the other didn't.
ESPN PER..BR PER..games..player
27.15 27.1 34 Paul
25.50 25.4 33 Wade
25.37 25.3 35 James
24.91 24.8 29 Nowitzki
24.25 24.1 31 Howard
His stats didn't change, but everyone else's did, so he went from a tiny bit above average to average (15.0).
There are definitely different formulas for PER. In fact each site used to keep theirs secret (do they still?), so how could they be the same.

Clyde and the other Houston homer announcer are hard to listen to. However my ears did perk up when the guy said LMA (in his humble opinion) should be the STARTING Pf in the all star game. Interesting to say the least coming from this guy.
LA with 28/10/4 in 39 min, 11/20 fg.

Garbage time stats. Matthews got almost all his stats in the 1st half.
Aldridge tonight:
1st half: 10 points, 5 rebounds, plus/minus pos 17, we outscored Minn 63-43
2nd half: 18 points, 5 rebounds, plus/minus neg 6, Minn outscored us 55-45
