I absolutely love watching the Blazers and I follow every tidbit including listening to 95.5 every day. I just feel like I'm being tortured by this season. We are not the better team in this series. Our best player is playing at 70%, our potential star center is sidelined for the year, our pf has a case of pussitis, and the coach is driving me crazy with his almost comical lack of emotion with the referees.

It's like having an old dog that can no longer run, can barely see you and no longer wants to chase the ball when you throw it. You don't want the dog to die but you know it's probably in the dogs best interest and yours for the dog to pass away.

If we somehow win tomorrow does anyone really, truly believe we'll win game 7? (don't lie, do you really believe?) I want nothing more than to win a playoff series but this year it's just not meant to be.

That's horrible..

And the PF and coach you can't stand will both be back next year, so it's going to be a long season for you next year. Don Nelson is very emotional with the refs, and the Golden State fan base is hurting, so I'm sure you could jump on over.

Take the rest of the season off. On us. Just stop posting here, and relax. Read a book. Hell, write a book. Enjoy your life.

More gravel.

Glad you got that off your chest.

You do know, don't you, that if the Blazers do happen to pull off a comeback and win this series you will be mocked mercilessly.

A game 7, win or lose, would be entertaining and would provide great experience for the team!

This. You can't manufacture that kind of pressure.

Sure you can; just manage game 5 so the home team wins, then call game 6 so the home team wins... Poof, a completely manufactured game 7!

I'm ready for the "year of the knee" to end, but I'm still anxious to see if this roster has one more miracle -- one more trick up its collective sleeve and if they can take this pretty good Suns team to the limit.

I'm going to tomorrow game and I want a win. It's tough to win a game 7 on the road, but you certainly have no chance if you are not playing a game 7.

GO BLAZERS!!

You mean the PF who had 31 pts and 11 rebs in Game 4? The single best game by any big man in the series? The PF who has upped his scoring from the regular season?

Don't give up 1EyeJack. These are the situations that you get ready for all season long. This is the challenge where we find out what we're made of? Why give up now? We know we can beat this team at home and we know we can beat this team in Phoenix. Now we just have to do it back to back. If Roy has a 20-25 point game in him, they're in trouble. Think of it this way. If our current set of players were healthy all season, we'd have a better record than the Suns. I firmly believe that.

Turn on the TV and watch the game tomorrow. If we lose, well, you got your wish. And if we win, we'll play our first series-winning game in 7 years and that is terrific experience for our players and us fans. A truly meaningful game! Go figure! We'll find out what we're made of.

Do I think this team WILL win this series....probably not. Do I think we have a shot? Absolutely...if we can take care of business tomorrow...Game 7 is going to be a dogfight and the refs will let the players determine the game unlike game 5. Either way it's incredible experience for the guys and nothing but good things come from this year.

I get that the lows are maddening, but nothing beats the high of watching the Blazers win a playoff game - and I'm all for seeing that happen twice more this week, and then being at the Rose Garden for Game #1 vs the Spurs. Believe!

I haven't seen a Blazer playoff series win in the last nine years, essentially the entire peak of my fandom. I have no reason to be ready for #10.

Look on the bright side. A Blazer loss gives you more time to practice bukkake on underaged boys (avatar reference)!

I have to admit, I am so worried (paranoid?) about Roy or Batum getting reinjured, it is taking a lot of the fun out of watching.

As someone who just had to put his dog and friend of 16 years down last night, I think this thread is a piece of shit.

Yeah, lets give up on them! Awesome!

The OP's wording was rather insensitive. My condolences. (I just picked up my buddy's ashes from the vet today) :sigh:

Either one would be bad but both your dog and your friend? What happened, did you catch them in bed together?

(And condolences on losing your dog. Hopefully your dog will come down from heaven and bite the refs if they start their BS again.)

Thank you. You and I were supposed to have our dogs put down on the same day - but I just couldn't do it until last night. One of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make - sorry you had to go through the same thing.

I guess I should've seen that one coming. That's my bad for my poor grammar. How's this: my dog was also my friend for the last 16 years. Better?

nope. I dont want a season to end until June, no matter the crap. I still LOVE my team. I sat and cheered through games as a kid in the early 90's when it was cool. I sat and cheered through games in the mid 90's and saw like 300 straight 1st round exits. I sat and cheered through Deep playoff runs, and police blotter. I sat and cheered through bottom feeding of the league teams... so I CERTAINLY am going to sit and cheer for this team, that poured their heart and soul out for us, when they had every excuse available to them, to quit but didnt. They didnt quit on themselves, and neither am I! I'm not trying to Rah-rah other people into this team. And yes there have been many frustrating moments this year... but I am DAMNED proud to be a Blazer fan, and am even more proud of my team! Seasons and feelings and adversity like we have endured, will make the first Championship I witness, that much sweeter. I know we wont win this year for sure, and there are many doubts and question marks about winning one with this squad... but my team has fought and will continue to do so until the final whistle, and dammit so will I!

Nah, I liked the first way better.

Again, sorry about losing your friend. I do know what you're feeling. Link

I don't want the season to end, but I wouldn't mind if they put it on hold for a couple of months. I just don't have time for it right now.

No way, I'm not ready for it to end! We've got two more wins to come, and then another series!! This thing is FAR from over.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

oden is ready for next season to be over so dont feel bad

I'm sorry, but that sounds like a total load of crap to me. If you "absolutely love the Blazers", why would you want the season to end? Are you really that eager for baseball season or something? Any true Blazer fan (or true fan of any team) never wants the ride to end. Sounds like a bandwagon fan comment to me. Let's go Blazers!

part of that would be not listening to 95.5 all day. Most of what they do is awkwardly try to stir shit up. It's not surprising that a regular listener would find themselves focused on perceived/imagined controversies with the club rather then the many good things.

here's hoping that Roy is moving better tonight :)
