Please tell me you realize how ridiculous you are for arguing the validity of my initial question by changing it to a completely different question!!

I think there's a significant chance we make the WCF. We made it to round 2 with a lesser team than we have this season. If the team that had Nurk in the lineup shows up this season, we could be really tough and our record could be surprisingly good.

We're here to win it all, though. And like I said, as long as Olshey tries his damnest to get us to the top, I will accept failure. I won't accept (be happy with) not trying. I don't believe any other GM can do it better, but I do believe a replacement could be a lot worse.

I find your complaint odd since you've posted you think a 3-peat (that's finals champion, not WCF) is mandatory expectations. That's your metric.

I've answered your question fairly, and I understand the question is a loaded one.

I don't see how any reasonable person could read that and think you mean making WCF 3 straight times. 3-peat has only been used (that I know of) to describe champions, and dynasties at that.

Your sarcasm meter is broken. Minstrel was mocking you with his "back-to-back titles" post, and I jokingly responded in kind. Nobody in their right mind actually expects that, or anything close.

I do care about results. I am rooting for championships and a dynasty. I am a fan of the team, the owner, the GM, the coach, and especially the players.

I'm also a realist. San Antonio has a most impressive track record for winning and even winning championships. They've had excellent records the past few seasons, yet haven't had the ultimate successes in recent seasons. They do produce results that make them absolutely worth their fans' fandom.

Unless we have a player who's arguably the best in the NBA, bar none (like LeBron or Durant), a championship may not be realistic. But if we try, we never know how things end up. They do have to play the games, after all.
