Last two......
I've never heard that part about Wes being an asshole. Now my visage is ruined. I pictured him totally different due to the fact he was such a fan favorite.

Fan favorite doesn't necessarily == great teammate.

My daughter met him once at a Jesuit football game and said he was great, super friendly with all the people sitting around him. But again, that's in a social setting not a work environment.

I'm saying I have no idea how he is to work with other than what I see during a game. I'm also going on record that I'll trust managements judgement because they certainly have a better idea than me about what kind of person he is.

I'd like to add that no person of bad character will get Paul Allen's approval based on what our past GM, Pritchard, told several of us a few years back. I'd also like to add that his is just fine with me. I don't want anyone who has an overall bad character.

In addition to his scoring he's also a very good ball handler and a great passer for his size/position.
It's this aspect of his game that makes me willing to turn a blind eye to his personality and contract.

Plus, we only have one Evan Turner and we're trading him for Blake Griffin.

I never thought I'd say it, but with all the trades being proposed here, I almost wish we had more than one Evan Turner.

Like, say, an Allen Crabbe? ;)

The problem is, there is only one team in the league that was willing to accept that contract, and they've already done so.

If we had another Allen Crabbe, I'm afraid we'd be stuck with him. He seems like a good guy, but completely 1-dimensional and way, WAY, WAY overpaid for what he brings (weak defending spot up shooter who can't create for himself or others).

He punched the clips equipment manager in a restaurant... you tell me.

Meet our new equipment manager:

Problem solved!

So if the Pelicans series provided a real clear lens of what we need to compete, why is Stotts still here? Ball movement is so important in the playoffs, yet we were last in assists.

I cant wait until Olshey the Clown is fired
Yeah, get rid of Stotts AND Olshey AND Biebs AND Collins...

If you broke your hand punching me in the face in public, we would no longer be friends. That's just me.
It's not just you. That's me, too. I might even say something. It might even manifest itself as some sort of cursing.

Are you sure? What if you were very close to this guy and liked him? You wouldn't consider forgiveness? If I didn't already like the guy, I can understand.

I would take on Blake if it was the rock bottom price of Turner and Aminu and a low pick.

But he does have some problems (even outside of getting 35 mil a year in 3 years - that is LeBron money!). Outside of the punch he threw to break one trainers face he also pushed a different staff member's head into his crotch to simulate fellatio on live tv.

With Dame I am confident he would be on his best behavior but those give me pause if a team pushed for more in return. I would say no thanks to sending a CJ or two first round picks if they try to up the ante.

Ah, he's not so tough. I don't see a single tattoo on him.

They must edit them out during post.

Here's what he looks like in real life:

Notice the dragon tattoo on his left arm. Seems appropriate.

Here he is setting the deadlift world record (1041 pounds) at the World's Strongest Man competition back in March:

I'll trust Olshey's judgment. He knows Blake better than any of us.
Olshey knows 2012 Blake Griffin. That was 6 years ago. He may know 2018 Blake Griffin, but I'm not sure I'd assume that.

I thought it was the same guy? No?

List all the players that are in a comparable situation as Plumlee was when we traded our pick for him (btw we also got Connaughton in that deal, so it was Plumlee and a second for #23 and we also threw in Blake to make it work financially.)

Oubre- Could use the Vonleh TPE to take him. Complete salary relief for Washington. Would the TPE and our pick be enough? Oubre plays a valuable position.

Jeremy Lamb

Stanley Johnson

Justice Winslow

That’s all I got. Would any of these guys even qualify as “vets?” I wouldn’t give up our pick for any of them except Oubre.

Courtney Lee seems like the most obvious target, to the point where no one should even get credit for “calling it” if it went down.

There's also video of him sexually harassing the guy, forcing his head down into his crotch during a game, stuff like that. Kind of a douche thing to do.

But does that make him a bad guy? He was obviously joking around in that instance. Outside of that punch, is there really anything else? Could just be an isolated incident.

Dunno.

I hadn't known about then Griffin fellatio thing so I just looked it up on YouTube. Wow, that's bad. Griffin acts like it's a joke but even though we only see the back on his head, the trainer looks pissed. That's textbook sexual harassment. Was he fined?

You should post the YouTube video your talking about.
