So let's see if i got this right, a certain GM had already Aminu, Vonleh, Leonard, Davis and Nurkic on the roster and drafted Swanigan and Collins knowing he would unload Crabbe's contract.

He passed on Donovan Mitchell and Malik Monk and now he has ony Patty Fastball as a backup guard.

I mean, HOW!?!?!?!!? and i thought drafting was his only strenght as a GM...

Well I think we all knew Collins is more of a longterm prospect. He has an intriguing skillset and in two years from now we might be talking about a steal. Of course it can go the wrong way too, but we cannot judge Olshey right now. We all know Collins needs more time and the frontcourt is really crowded right now. After all Olshey traded his way up there, he didn't have the number 10 pick to begin with.

Look, i'm not as high as you on Lillard, but if you think so go great of him do you realize that you're wasting his prime years waiting on a project like Collins?

For a project like Embiid it could be worth it, but for Collins, REALLY!?!?

Two years from now Lillard will be nearly 30...

Lillard said he pushed for Mitchell.
He could have been perfect for us.

You don't waste prime years on a guy who you (in your opinion, which doesn't hold a candle, same as my opinion) don't think is a superstar. Because their prime years don't mean much.

I say I say, so confusing are peoples' arguments.

Look, stop starting threads.

Malik Monk again?

One thing drafted Leonard and basically he has drafted players except Dame that is project to help us 2-3 years out.

had to adjust it.

Ye because remove Collins and insert Mitchell or Monk and there you have a title contender....

Aminu, Vonleh, and Leonard suck. That's why he drafted those guys.

I believe what the OP was meaning is that is why he drafted the new guys anyways.....

This assumes you know NOs plan. Maybe he intends on making a trade for a 3 mid season, or wants to target someone in the offseason. In which case you draft for the long term, you don't draft someone who will be out of the rotation when you make your move.

How do you know Olshey didn't draft Collins to put him in a trade for a star player?
Give me a reason why a team should trade us a star in exchange for Zach Collins who hasn't even cracked our rotation.

A Donovan Mitchell or Molik Monk would have been more attractive in every trade scenario and also would have been more useful to our team.

So who is the GM of this board ? Sly or Denny ? Because we should clearly fire him for drafting Portland2014. Probably the biggest bust ever in the NBA (National Boards Association)

...serious question, I have never blocked anyone before on this site but I was wondering if I did so then would it also prevent me from seeing all of the worthless threads started by the obvious troll OP?! :dunno:

I said to put Zack Collins in a trade not trading Collins for a star player.

Yes, because Monk is setting the NBA on fire with his play thus far...

With that 0.461 TS%, he's sure to become an all NBA great.

Just give it a rest dude. NO is not without his faults and issues. He's made a lot of bad decisions and some very good decisions. However it gets very old seeing you spewing drivel post after post without providing anything constructive.

Yes it does.
That really needs to get fixed though. There are a couple members I really wish I could block. The only reason I don't is I want to see all the different thread topics.

Uhhh, no they wouldn't, because there were stars available, and we could've flipped the 10th pick if teams wanted Monk or Mitchell that bad.

This isn't a JinxSpeed thread?
