Guys, guys--it's still 2020. No way something good like this happens to us this calendar year.
Who thinks the Blazers if they were healthy, could have been in the mix to contend in the bubble.
If you do, why then would you want to get rid of Neil? To me standing back at a glance, it appears once we were healthy we are are a very decent team and with a tweak in the right place we could be contenders.
Let us pray...

I agree 100%.I question whomever's making the decisions for the Sixers given that the other candidates they were supposedly interested in were Morey and Pritchard.
This is a perfect reply.... Much respect.Yeah, but there seems to be a bit of symmetry in the way 2020 treats different areas. We get forest fires that blow smoke. Philly gets a GM who blows smoke. Kind of evens things out.
Yes, we were a decent team - but a LONG way from being true contenders.Who thinks the Blazers if they were healthy, could have been in the mix to contend in the bubble.

That's what I was thinking of. He just signed an extension last summer.https://www.nba.com/blazers/story/2019/4/24/neil-olshey-signed-to-new-multi-year-contract-extension
His contract goes until the 23-24 season. Could we trade him for a future second?
I think "president" in this article refers to POBO, aka president of basketball operations, not the business side.If the rumor is true, he wants total power. He gets criticism for not making more moves.
Is McGowan preventing him from making moves he feels would help the team? If that's the case, are we comfortable with whoever McGowan brings in? Who might that be?
League sources have said the Sixers are inquiring about the possibility of hiring a president of basketball operations.
Who would you want see hear in place of Neil? This is a perfect reply.... Much respect.

Billups is my #1 choice, but there is also this:Who would you want see hear in place of Neil?

If there is even a whiff of Ujiri being available, bring him in ASAP.
nothing finalized on that front yet.Wasn't Indy rumored to be looking at Billups as their next coach?
Nevermind.Has to be Masai.
Would fit his M.O.
I STILL can't find your post in the 2017 NBA DRAFT THREAD about how upset you were with that pick. Still looking.......standby......Grading Zach Collins over Bam Abedeyo was the last straw for me. 2017 was the last decent draft year we had moves for and he blows a top 10 pick on a bust and swanigan.
So please take whatever job you’re offered Neil
