So at halftime the refs were heading towards the locker room when one our fans pushed or threw something at them. That might be the end of us in the playoffs. What a fucking idiot, I mean you can be frustrated within limits. It was a classless move and I hope that person is never allowed in the RG again.

Lol, my bad on the spelling mistake. And I know enough. The refs don't care if a fan threw something. They aren't some evil organization out there to fuck your team over. They ref the game. There will be bad calls, but your team isn't fucked, so this is vast over-reaction.

Well considering that once their careers are over, certain officials had admitted to having a bias against players & teams. They are human, they remember situations like that and some will hold a grudge. Just ask Clyde Drexler if refs won't fuck your team over.

They hold grudges yes, but they don't and use that. If your team plays well, they will win.

Whatever. Our players have always been totally nice and never complain much, and when they do, they keep it respectful. Officials have also complimented Nate on the Blazer's professionalism. But what has that gotten us? Jack Shit. We're almost always the team that is screwed.

I've got a friend who's a big Spurs fan and really dislikes the Blazers, and even he admitted the reffing was terrible. It's a good thing I wasn't near the court cause I had visions of leading a sit in on the court.

No one threw anything or touched any of the refs - the guy must have just said a magic word. I was booing them all the way off the court and watched the whole thing. The ref apparently didn't like being called out on the screw job he was working.

I almost think us not complaining to the refs is a disadvantage at this point. The team that complains gets the calls.

This is a classic case of the nice guys getting fucked in the ass.

Affect :tsktsk:

Take off you hoser, you don't know what you're talking a boot.

LOL

I think "effect" is proper in this context.

If throwing something at the refs might effect a change in the way the calls were changed.

But I could care less

Seriously, when is Nate going to man up and take one for the team? He needs to lay into the officiating. Right now the refs know they can fuck us over and Nate will be Mr. nice guy

Worse were the classless idiots behind me in 303.. yelling they hope certain Rockets die in car wrecks, and that refs can suck their .... and it got worse throughout the game.. i thought I was at a middle school pep rally with the idiots.. oh wait they were 27

lololololol! you were sitting one row above me...i had a white roy jersey on...i was booing the refs cuz i thought they were horrible in the first half but i dont blame them for the loss...that woman had the most annoying voice ever "staaaaaaaaaaaand up"

This was our worst loss all season.
The officiating was horrible.
How do you expect people to react?

There was a woman in front of my section trying to get the wave going. When the team was down by 24.

Finally, after a few attempt, someone stood up and yelled that the team is losing by "24 points, moron" and she sat down.

At least, I heard it yelled and she sat down after that. I don't know if it was related.

There was a guy behind me who kept yelling at us to "get off our asses" and cheer.

When it was like a 28 point game.

Cheer for what? The game to end? ;)

Wait?! So you have even less caring you could do?

That's why I rarely go to games. You spend hundreds of dollars, and usually have to sit around someone who is really annoying.

Lol holy crap were you the guy after the game who I said "We sat by some classy people tonight fellas" ? in section 303.. I had the Black alternate colored Oden Jersey.
And yeah they were still yelling COME ON BLAZERS COME BACK KINGS!! man they were annoying.. its good to still cheer but they were obnoxious and classless.

I'm sort of wondering why you went to the game. :dunno:

I believe in that context you meant "I couldn"t care less."

Death or injury wishes for opponents are as sad and cowardly as they are unimaginative, but clever putdowns of horribly inept or crooked refs are a staple of the true fan.

But wishing death upon those refs?

No they were in Row P, they were right above me and I was in O. and we were to the higher number side, more to the left when looking at the court.

count your blessings, i was sitting in front of no less than 7 rockets fans, 5 of whom were under the age of 10... that's a whole lot of squealing

Putting down refs/umpires is part of the game. Throwing things is not.

Please, let's not act like Laker fans. Or Raiders fans.
