The more I consider this question. The more I wish everyone was able to read the minds of everyone else.

The ability for everyone to read everyone's mind would eliminate all lying, cheating, stealing, and deception of all sorts. Which is the basis for most problems in the world, and probably many wars. But it would make playing poker very boring.

My wish would be that the entire world would live by The Golden Rule.

I think the dilemma would be:

Do I make a selfish wish or an unselfish wish?

Do I wish for unimaginable wealth? Immortality? Some other dream scenario like the ability to read minds, etc etc etc?

Or do I wish for something like world peace? And what exactly does world peace look like? How does it play out? All guns magically stop working? People lose their urge to harm one another? The fundamental issue is that humans are violent and angry by nature. So to wish for something that essentially removes a large part of our genetic makeup, could have unintended consequences. And wouldn't it be just our luck that we all become docile pansies and aliens decide to invade...

Humans are intelligent enough to know when to use violence. Mind Over Matter. You are in control of your body right? So that means you can choose when to be violent and when not to. My selfish wish would be to have the size and powers of Beast from the X-Men. That's some Teen Wolf type shit right there! I'd be the best NBA player of all time!

I was a student back then. I didn't have any money to bet with! But if I could change one thing in sports, I don't know if I would have preferred getting the championship with the Drexler team or the Sheed team. I probably would go with the Drexler team. That was such a fun team to root for.

Hmm......one wish......

A LOT of good mentions on here......but probably for me......I wish I could go back in time to when I was 11 or so, and redo my life all over again; knowing all the lessons I've learned and the mistakes I've made. There are certainly MANY things that I would have done differently...like stuck with sports on some level (probably baseball), or focused on a different career path. Definitely focused on a different career path...

There was also 2 chicks in Junior High that I wanted to fuck more than anything, but I was too naive and ignorant about girls at the time. Same with a girl I met in my early-mid 20s, who I only went on one date with. It turns out, as I got older, that I actually shared a lot in common with her; that I didn't know I liked at the time.

Her grandfather was also William Danner; founder of Danner Boots. I could have gotten a life-long supply of boots....sigh.....

I also wonder if perhaps I could have had a boyfriend from Boy Scouts; a friend of mine who was pretty Liberal. I had some feelings for him at the time. Not sure how that would have gone though...

I wish I had stuck with counseling through some more difficult times in my life, because I really needed it.

Hmm. Basically...I wish I could do my life over, knowing what I know now.

As I was typing this, there was a massive bolt of lightning outside that shook the whole apartment complex. Now there's car alarms and sirens going off.

That might be God trying to tell me something.

Now....when it comes to "regrets", I've got too many of those to list, lol. So I'll just stick with wishes.

I'm saying that if you took her to a restaurant that you knew later in your life before you otherwise would have went there, you COULD die in a car accident that day because in your original life you stayed home. We can disagree about what you think would happen but you swearing it won't doesn't mean anything.
