It matters. Plenty of decent players have come through the SL. It gives some of these guys a chance to be the focal point of the offense, play against other decent competition, and get experience that they otherwise wouldn't have been able to get from merely practicing or playing spot minutes.
So do glorified scrimmage games but it still doesn't mean much. I just like to see that Bayless is trying to become a better PG even if the games have little meaning.
Absolutely not true. When Pooh was in at the 1 normally Bayless was out and our offense stalled. In the 2nd half of the 2nd game they allowed Bayless to play the 2 and Pooh to play the 1 and that's when Pooh looked his best. Because Bayless is really able to play well off the ball.
