League Pass gives you a chance to hear other team announcers. The Lakers are just the latest to denigrate the Nets without giving praise where it is due. Like: "It should take Kobe about two seconds to realise he can just pump fake and go right past" Antoine Wright. A quarter and a half later, Kobe is 3-12 and "struggling." Um, hello? Then there's the typical critique of Carter (paraphrasing, "he was drafted very high and has never lived up to his potential"), and imagining the thoughts going on inside Malik Allen's head when Odom drove past him ("Coach, you told me he was quick, but NOT THAT QUICK!!!!" Odom is such a goddddddddddd). This on the heels ofone other team's announcers on this trip (don't remember which) openly laughing (actually openly guffawing, not just pointing out some misplay) at Boki's defense (OK, maybe it was deserved, but still, he's an NBA player, you don't laugh) and the Celtics announcers saying something very early in the game like"They just have to make the one additional pass and they'll completely break the Nets' defense down." There's homerism, and then there's being biased. The Nets announcers--all of them--don't hesitate to give credit to a good play by the opposition while still calling the game from a Nets slant. I often hear Marv saying something like, "that was a great play by [some opposing player]. Guys, it doesn't make you less of a man to give credit to all NBA players.

I hate them all.

Thankfully, we seem to get the Nets feed whenever the nets play some team that doesn't broadcast in HD, which seems to happen a lot.
