tOSU fans are probably shitting a brick. This is the same Nebraska that got blown out by Indiana last week.

Lanning was the best hire any would could ever imagine.

I remember John Crapzano shitting all over it when it happened. He thought the Ducks were fools for not hiring the coaching prodigy Dave Aranda.

I don't read 'the Clown' but it's funny to see excerpts posted here and how much he gets his undies in a bunch regarding Oregon.

Oregon is ranked No. 1 in the current AP Top 25, the first time the team has held the top spot in the rankings since 2012. The Ducks are one of just 10 remaining undefeated teams in the nation. Oregon is coming off a 35-0 victory at Purdue last weekend, their first road shutout since 1992. Illinois is coming off a 21-7 victory over then-No. 24 Michigan. It was the team‘s first ranked-vs.-ranked home win since 1991. This will be Illinois’ first game against a top-ranked team in the country since the Fighting Illini won at Ohio State in 2007. That year, they went to the Rose Bowl.

The 2012 Ducks, led by Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota, were in the top spot for one week in November 2012 after following a 10-0 start with a loss to Stanford. The 2010 team, which lost to Auburn in the BCS title game, spent six weeks at No. 1.

That OPI on Nebraska was weak, but I don’t think this is targeting.

The defender should not run into a defenseless player with his forearm.

I think the penalty should not be called targeting. That seems to imply intent. I don't think intent should be relevant.
The penalty should just be called "blow to the head" or something like that.
It should be like the facemask penalty, which is an obviously dangerous situation where nobody cares whether it was intentional or not.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that the Ducks are not gonna get the #1 pick. Just can’t seem to figure out how to lose?
That's what happens when you have talent and good coaching.

And a top flight franchise based around quality people that does everything possible to keep those quality people on board.
