OT Oregon Ducks 2025

5* QB Ryder Lyons is announcing tomorrow and it's expected to be BYU over Oregon. Lyons is Mormon, but BYU is supposed to have put together a massive financial package for him that dwarfs what Oregon offered. Thats pretty much what happened with Cantwell to Miami and Wesley to Texas. At least what I'm reading is that the Ducks keep getting outbid by teams flush with the new money from the House settlement who are ignoring the new rules because they expect those rules to be struck down in court. Supposedly Oregon is spreading their new money around the roster rather then targeting it at just recruits and wanting to play nice and by the rules for now letting other schools be the one's in court being labeled as buying their roster. Definitely things are in flux now in college football.

I’m a Beaver believer. Not that it matters to what sort of talent he has, but at the end of the day I bet he ends up a 4•. Big arm, good athlete, excellent stats and some late offers from Oregon and other high end schools should move him up

The runner made no effort to slide. Plate obstruction or not, the runner has an obligation to attempt to reduce the contact. He did not fulfill his obligation.

Yes, he did. What he didn't do was make any attempt to barrel through the catcher.

a lot of chicken-little-duck-fans were in panic mode about Oregon's OL recruiting this cycle. But they just got 3 commits in about 3 days, including a 5-star

The kid I just saw commit is HUGE! He squats 600 lbs too. He was throwing other high school kids around like rag dolls in the video of a all star high school camp I saw too.

6' 6.5" and 345 lbs and he's between his junior and senior seasons. Imagine you're a 210 lb high school DLinemen across from him

by the way...the Ducks got a transfer from Cal for the T&F team; discus thrower Mykolas Alekna from Lithuania

how good is he in the discus? oh, he just happens to be the current world record holder

Dude has a 7'4" wingspan to go with those 350 lbs. I believe he's been playing football for just 2 years... so while he checks the boxes for massive and athletic, his technique probably has a ways to go that could bring his play to an incredibly high level. Anyhoo here's that tape you were referring to.

Rumblings of another big commit about to drop and that it might be my biggest 2026 recruiting hope undersized but super athletic Georgia DT Deuce Geralds.
