No Oregon school has been #1.....EVER! Maybe Linfield haha!

I think Portland State was once during the Mouse Davis/Neil Lomax years and Linfield has been many times.

But those are divisions no really gives a flying crap about.

I wasn't digging on the Oregon schools ass. Just curious. Big day for the Ducks and big day for the state. Don't blow it like you usually do (now that was a dig).

If you grew up playing sports in this state it's not hard to know people who have played for the Ducks or Beavers.

Not at all! As a Duck and all my fellow Ducks, we root for the Beavs to win every game EXCEPT when they play us. All the OSU fans that I know wish the Ducks would lose every game if they could! I don't understand this at all actually.

That's not true at all. I root for the Ducks when we don't play them. I'm certainly not disappointed when they lose though.
 
BCS is all that really matters, and the "experts" predict Boise St. will be #1. Bullshit if you ask me! Ducks should be #1 in the BCS. We'll find out tomorrow.

I'm with ya. I root for the Ducks... just not when they play the Beavs. I root for the Pac 10 when they arent playing the Beavs or Ducks.

Ducks distant #2
Pac 10 #3
 
I expect BSU to be number one in the BCS standings when they come out. Sure, they played a crap team today and kicked their asses inside out, but they did play today. After last week, BSU caught up with Oregon a bit as we didn't exactly demolish a team we should have utterly destroyed. And since we didn't play this week, and BSU continued their cupcake party, I would assume they would surpass us. But, if we keep beating PAC 10 teams and Boise keeps holding serve against their terrible competition, we will eventually take over the number one slot, probably after next week if we beat UCLA in a decent way. I am honestly just enjoying this for now. Going through a tough conference like the PAC 10 undefeated takes all kinds of luck and perseverance. It could happen, but I wouldn't bet on it. I am enjoying the ride while it lasts and just hoping for the best.
 
I wonder what OSU losing to UW does to BSU's strength of schedule? It certainly takes a hit and it will show up when the computer spits out it's rankings. Certainly the percentage pts will be closer between 1 and 2 than they were projected to be.

I have never posted or said anything like this about the Ducks in my life. But this truly is a great accomplishment. Give credit where credit is due.
