I could poke holes all over this postI know which Steve Jones you're talking about. He's a big wheel in cheese.
The Ducks look average at best. I'm looking forward to seeing them in Corvallis.
Minnesota Timberwolves fans on Line One, sir.OSU fans talk more trash for being so perennially bad than any other fanbase I can think of.
Want a neutral, unbiased opinion? All you guys trash talk....OSU fans talk more trash for being so perennially bad than any other fanbase I can think of.
Do you ever see Duck fans comment on OSU articles or message boards? The Beavers have not beaten the Ducks in almost 10 years, and when is the last time the Beavers were even ranked? Yet they still like to gloat over every Oregon loss.Want a neutral, unbiased opinion? All you guys trash talk....
I'm an alum, a Duck for life.Do you ever see Duck fans comment on OSU articles or message boards? The Beavers have not beaten the Ducks in almost 10 years, and when is the last time the Beavers were even ranked? Yet they still like to gloat over every Oregon loss.

you must not like baseball because OSU is always a top baseball school....OSU fans talk more trash for being so perennially bad than any other fanbase I can think of.

Wait.. what?? Rolls Royce with only one carry?
Royce Freeman had way more than one carry.
11 carries, 87 yards, 2 TDs
Ok, go find me a couple of examples of Ducks fans talking trash about OSU losing to the Gophers. This is a duck thread and you came here to take a shot at the Ducks "looking average" after a blow-out win. You Beaver fans have such little brother syndrome.I see it all the time. And this isn't a Ducks message board.
I love baseball and seriously hate football, trash talk or not..OSU has a legendary baseball program that is respected all around the country....lot of national championships..more than the Ducks...if you don't follow baseball I understand but the Beavs have been elite...had players go pro with great success. Trash talk is overrated...championships are notLet's be honest, nobody is talkin trash about college baseball. All of the rivalry centers around football.
I was going to school in Corvallis during their first championship. It was pretty exciting.I love baseball and seriously hate football, trash talk or not..OSU has a legendary baseball program that is respected all around the country....lot of national championships..more than the Ducks...if you don't follow baseball I understand but the Beavs have been elite...had players go pro with great success. Where do you work again?Freaking.
Nerd.
Ranked team, vs cupcake? You ain't rankedAverage relative to what? You guys lost to the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Trash talking your in-state rival, or any rival, is for fun. Record has nothing to do with it. You look for any and every reason to throw shade on your rival. It's part of fandom. To criticize it seems pointless to me. I hated the Huskies when they were good and the Beavers and Ducks were bad, and I hate the Huskies when they are bad and the Beavers and Ducks are good. Huck the Fuskies for eternity.
I grew up rooting for both the Beavers and the Ducks, so I don't trash talk either. (The new breed of Ducks fans though...fuck those schmucks.) When they play each other, I pick a team based on the situation. Push comes to shove, I'm a Beaver first, having grown up 10 miles from campus. When I was a kid, the Ducks and Beavers had the two worst Division I football programs in the country. I still went to games of both teams and suffered through it. When the Ducks were rising from the ashes and had to beat the Beavers to get into a bowl game, I may not have 'rooted' for them against the Beavers, but I hoped they won. That kind of success is good for all Oregon schools, and the state.
So, trash talk away. It's what fans do.
all in good fun though.Duck fans need to read this post...especially the "fun" part of trash talking because they have fucking meltdowns when they're up 60-3 with 2 minutes left over an offsides call.....some of the most blindly aggressive football fans I've ever lived around. To some that's fun, to me, it's made me less of a Duck fan than I might have been. I pretty much started becoming a Beaver fan when my son went there. Duck basketball fans are way more civil. Being a Blazer fan I've gotten used to cheering for the underdog over the years and what Pat Casey has accomplished in Corvalis is going to make a great sports movie someday...folks forget Corvalis has about 80 thousand people, most of whom are students. Tiny college town but I love the placeTrash talking your in-state rival, or any rival, is for fun. Record has nothing to do with it. You look for any and every reason to throw shade on your rival.
