My take is they are following the lead of the Oregon Health Plan. but it will only work in States with the Suicide law like Oregon.

You do realize the Oregon Health Plan is government Health insurance?

Yeah, I do. Do you realize it is Medicaid? And did you know your orange hero in DC is busy trying to cut payments to Medicaid?

Do YOU want to pay more tax dollars so that this woman can live a few months longer?

I'm sure you don't - in fact you'd like to see her get even less medical benefits. That's what you are supporting politically, anyway.

So what exactly are you complaining about? You should be happy the state is suggesting a way to save you some money.

Not complaining at all barf. Just sharing how government will make you health care decisions if you give it over to them.
Which is cheaper? Government always uses this as the criteria unless they have other higher priority criterion.
1. Do the bugger.
2. Treat him with the latest technology.

You are the one that likes the government.
I prefer the Constitution. It gives the government no role in this business. If you wish, and enough agree, then an amendment could spell out the objectives if you wish make health care the Federal governments business.

Shouldn't they? Isn't that exactly what you want them to do? Would a private insurance company do differently?

I don't know what that means.

Whatever. Pretty sure if Medicaid was unconstitutional, some MarAzul would have gotten the supreme court to declare it such, sometime in the past several decades.

So no amendment necessary.
