Most of the small business owners are probably Republican or will be so fuck um. We can let everyone come here and not worry about flooding the labor force. Well it would still flood the labor force
but without downward pressure on the wages if they simply dictate a higher wage must be paid? The Republicans will have to pay it and the dems get the voters. Shoot if enough come and it keeps the labor force over stocked, they can run on creating jobs and bashing the racist greedy bastards that don't hire the needy. Let's raise their pay some more, and let the Republicans deal with it.

if you want illegals to pay taxes, social security, medicare, etc, you give them an SSN. its pretty simple.

I knew a lot of illegals in bend and they all had a ssn the problem is they also had 8 more they claimed as dependants so they never paid taxes. And none of the 9 numbers were linked to them legally and they didnt own property in the us or buy on credit so the irs could do nothing to penalize them. There are no assets to seize.

But at that point they will be true citizens and I can get behind that. But illegals coming here abusing our systems and infrastructure is a slap in the face to the people that have came here legally, as well as any American that pays taxes.

A SSN doesn't make you a citizen. You get a SSN when you get a green card or student visa.

They also pay into social security and never collect.

I've pulled credit reports and have seen 20 different people using the same SSN. I've also seen finance companies still lend to one of the people using that number, as long as they can prove they have been in the country for over 2 years there are finance companies that will happily give them a 36% interest car loan. I know first hand of two illegals with home mortgages, both with 10-12% interest rates. The predatory lending banks used to do to African Americans they now do to illegals. And if they fuck up lending to too many illegals they know the US taxpayers will bail them out.

I think my previous points explain my position. Denny wants to allow illegals here because he doesn't care, I don't because its a slap in the face to legal immigrants, and tax payers.

Luckily most of the country support my POV.

I'm glad you can speak for the rest of the country. Tell that to the person that was interviewed in Trumps line, who was a legal immigrant, and voting for Trump because of illegal immigration.

Not to mention, if it wasn't a problem like you say it isn't, there wouldn't be laws about illegal immigration, or border patrol agents.

I speak for myself. I am not affected or bothered by people coming to live here - not any more than anyone else. You are the one speaking for these people who are supposedly "slapped in the face."

I don't suggest people who come here without visas become citizens. That is the reward for those who do apply and go through the process. I do say to make them "legal" so they can be subject to our laws, including minimum wage, income tax, federal withholding, and so on.

Maybe you might read up on why we have laws on immigration. It's not because it's a problem at all.

Sigh... You don't get it. I never said I didn't want to let people in at all. I said I am against illegal immigration. The keyword being "illegal" something you probably don't give a shit about, which is fine, that is your opinion.

I am all for keeping the borders open for legal immigration avenues and that should have never been in question.

Is that easier for you to understand now?
 
No victim, no crime. That's why it's not a serious enough crime to waste any effort on. Not only no victims, no harm has been done.

This is supposed to be a free country. Let it be free.
