2 three star Centers.
Go Beavs!
you didnt expect to make the NIT did you? im hoping maybe, just maybe they make one of those small new tournysWell, Oregon States season is done, probably going to finish 7-11 pac-10, and 13-16 overall. I doubt by now they will make NIT. It was a good season, but things would have been better if they had swept the Ducks.
Well, Oregon State made the NIT perhaps because Robinson had some IVY league coach support or respect?
Actually they made the CBI not the NIT. The CBI is just 16 teams and a step down from the NIT.

Yeah, I'll take it. Such a nice turn around, and quick too....post-season nonetheless baby!!!

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Roeland Schaftenaar sparked a 7-0 overtime run and Oregon State came from behind for a 65-62 win against Stanford in Wednesday's semifinals of the College Basketball Invitational.
Lathan Wallace had 16 points and three steals for Oregon State (16-17), which lost a six-point lead in the final 2:30 of regulation, but overcame a five-point deficit in overtime.
Schaftenaar added 14 points and Calvin Haynes 10 for the Beavers, who will host Texas-El Paso on Monday in the first game of the best-of-three CBI championship series.
Anthony Goods led Stanford (20-14) with 20 points.
It was the fourth meeting of the year between the Pac-10 conference rivals. The Beavers swept the regular-season games, but the Cardinal got even in the first round of the postseason tournament.
This game is only available on Comcast channel 737 HD. Game starts at 7 pm PST.
I'll try to watch it since I have the HD box.
Maybe a year from now ESPN2 or some other carrier should carry the CBI semi and finals. Maybe next year they will increase the teams by 4.
