To borrow a page out of your sphincter tightening playbook of responses, "IDGAF" about what you think. And IDGAF what color Jesus was, and not sure why you do.

You won't answer the question of why he was made white...

Why was that lie told?

And it matters to me because my people have been conditioned to believe in that lie.

I was raised Baptist Christian and yes, I was lied to...

Is there a deity that doesn't look like the people that worship them? That seems pretty common worldwide.

The only one that comes to mind is the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

I think everyone is free to picture their mythical messiah however they want. My Jesus is a lovely blue so he matches the water he walks on.

As a Western pig-dog you probably don't know this, but Indians (the Indian sort, not the American sort) aren't blue-skinned. Indians don't depict their deities as looking like them, they depict them based on the coloration they'd have where they were born, Pandora.

The Bible is nothing more than a collection of short stories. No different than a Stephen King Novel. If believing in it and following lessons from it makes you a better person, so be it. If using it allows you to help spread your hate or start wars and harm others, that's not so good.
I was baptized in a Mexican Catholic church in SoCal.....confirmed in an Episcopalian church here in Portland. Raised in the church til I was 18. I live my life and have raised my children using common sense and life experiences, nothing I learned from the bible.

Where does Jesus is white come from? never ever heard that or see that. I always looked at Jesus as mid eastern brown. Who cares what color people are? Seems to me only those that have racist or hate approach to life.

Was tortilla Jesus on a flour or corn tortilla? That could be the key to the whole shootin' match.
